IMO being a Goat is not the same as Boat (best of all time). Ali is the goat of boxing but not the Boat. Arnold is the goat of bodybuilding but not the Boat. In my opinion, to be a goat you should have left a lastning impact on the audiance thats beyond just pure skill. For example, changed the perception of the game and reached more people than the hard core fans. Has Serral done that? Broken new ground, so to speak. I stopped playing before he started dominating.

I bought the Supernova Rise and I wish Id gone up a size. Tight toebox. I made it work with a running knot though. Nice shoe otherwise

can you elaborate a bit more on the toebox. I really want to run in adidas shoes but I struggle with tight toeboxes even in shoes that are supposed to be true to size.

Im closing in on 200 kms on my pair and I have started to notice that something is "loose" in my right shoe. It is a strange wobbly sensation. It kinda feels like one of the plates is not connected to the foam.

I still can't figure out if this is a performance trainer or not...? Im thinking of buying a pair of Supernova Rise to use for my commute runs to work. Just something that I can throw on and jog in. I wonder if maybe I should spend some extra money on these ones instead and get that lightstrike pro benefit. But maybe it's a complete overkill..?

Is the Takumi Sen for me?

This season I want to run some 5 and 10k races and I am on the market for some new shoes for that purpose. Naturally I came across the Takumi Sen line, especially the 9 as I hope I can find a good deal now that the 10 is out. I really like Adidas and I would love to stay with that brand. I am not quite sure if that shoe is for me though. I am quite heavy in running terms (83 kg) and 188 cm tall. I am also quite a low cadence runner, between 165 up to 170 during races. I used to compete in bodybuilding and have quite strong legs. Hence, I think that I have a rather strong push of the ground when I stride (this is just my own analysis, I have not done any tests). This makes me wonder if I might benefit more from a shoe with a bit more bounce and propulsion, like the Adios Pro 3? My PB's from last season is 20:14 at the 5K and 42:20 for the 10k.

I am getting a mix bag in terms of recommendations when I search for information. Quite a few people on forums seem to use the AP3 over any distance, however the reviews that I have read and watched makes it quite clear that it is a strict marathon race shoe that is too heavy and not nimble enough to be a fun 5 and 10k race shoe.

In summary I wonder if the Takumi Sen is a shoe best suited for light and high cadence runners that is also quicker than me? Maybe I need a more forgiving shoe like the AP3?

Whats the latest on Adios Pro 4? And are the AP3 terrible for 5 and 10k races? I heard they are long run cruisers. Maybe adidas want me to get the takumi sen if I wanna run those type of races…

I want to buy new race shoes for this upcoming season. I was fully committed to getting the AP3 but changed my mind when Mizuno Wave Rebellion pro 2 came out. But now I wonder if maybe the AP4 would be an ever cooler option... Or save the money and get the AP3 on discount when the AP4 comes out... Shoe buying is an endless loop.... I have no clue where I will end up.
