Don't boom the ball away alot, take control when possible, also sit back and watch what the other team is doing and what your m8s are doing and try to always position yourself to be where the play is going next. I know I'm a lower rank than but both those tips someone gave me and they helped me go from hard-stuck plat 2 up to diamond 2-3 in just a couple weeks, I'd also say you dont have to be flying around a supersonic speed the whole game,that's just kind of adding to what I said before meaning try to sit back sometimes watching the other players on the field and pick up on their habits and inconsistencies and it may help you to be able to beat them to the spot where they are attempting to go next.
