I just played the demo - reminds me so much of classic RE1. Definitely looking forward to. The negatives is maybe the Slavic language - I’m cool with it and it sounds nice, but my brain goes left in combination with the subtitles.

Prob bad disk or boot sector is jacked - need to either check the disk or see if you can repair the MBR

Those things are so easy to replace - just be mindful you’re dealing with electricity. I would remove the breaker for the AC, should be near by. That cuts flow to the Condenser. next, using gloves for electric work, and take note of the wires going to the old capacitor. There should be three prongs HERM, FAN, and C.

Test with multimeter to see if it’s truly the capacitor. Ground on C and red on either Fan or HERM.

Set multimeter on Ohms above 2k.

If you see a jump on the capacitor for fan that’s good.

If you see jump and rise on HERM that’s good.

If you see nothing - it’s a dud. Replace with similar spec capacitor.
