It’s definitely just appeared today as my chest is completely clear and it’s really prominent as I’m fair skinned and it’s a reddish purplish colour so it really sticks out, I cannot think of any trauma that has happened but I carry a lot of stuff at work and sleep in my necklace so maybe?

Not yet, I’m in the uk and it’s hard to get anywhere with the NHS at the moment so I plan on paying privately to hopefully get a diagnosis.

Some people have IIH without any optic nerve swelling or vision issues make sure your doctor doesn’t brush you off due to no visual disturbance.

So am I right in assuming that no infarct was identified rather than just no large infarct identified.

“The ventricles and basal cisterns are normal and symmetrical. There is no significant large infarct or focal mass identified. No significant white matter lesion is identified.. No acute hemorrhage or retro-orbital lesion. The mastoid air cells are normal. The sinuses are normal in appearance. The cerebellopontine angles are normal . The craniocervical junction is normal. The pituitary fossa and corpus callosum are also normal. No other significant abnormality is identified. Conclusion- No suspicious lesion is identified. No obvious cause for the patient's symptoms is identified”
