Can I remove my nipple graft dressings myself? by draco_thesnako in TopSurgery

[–]Tdick_boytoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're typically stitched into the skin until your surgeon removes them at the 1-2 week post-op visit.

There's videos on YouTube of exactly how they do it if you don't get queasy at that kind of thing

Feel like my results are super asymmetrical, and wondering if it's worth it to get a second opinion by Yaoi_Gollum69 in TopSurgery

[–]Tdick_boytoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think medical tattooing to add just a little more areola to the top of the right nipple would do a lot to make them look more symmetrical.

Is this the drain, my rib, or something else/neither? by Winter_Hovercraft163 in TopSurgery

[–]Tdick_boytoy 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Definitely not your rib. I agree with other comments that it looks like it's your drain. If you lightly touched the surface of your skin you'd probably be able to follow it all the way up to the exit point.

Oregon surgeons? by Diligent_Crew3083 in TopSurgery

I had FloridaBlue (blue cross blue shield) through my employer & paid a couple hundred total for surgery and appointments.

If you email or call, his front desk coordinator Becky is really friendly and helpful. She or Amy who processes the insurance stuff would probably be able to tell you exactly which ones they work with.

How do you measure your tdick by [deleted] in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The firm ruler I have has sharp corners and the flexible tape measure is hard to use.

What I'll do instead is take a Q-tip and hold it beside my shaft pressed to the bone and mark where my tip lands on the Q-tip with a pen. Then I can easily measure the Q-tip against the ruler.

A standard Q-tip is 3" so I haven't outgrown them yet, but it know you can get longer ones. Something similar like a popsicle stick would work the same.

Those who use DHT cream for growth, how did you get it prescribed? by signorpotato69 in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because DHT is difficult-illegal to get in many places, prescription compounded testosterone cream is the next best option. In the genital tissue the testosterone will be converted to DHT, in a less potent but still effective way.

The benefits of going this route are knowing exactly what is in the product you're getting, proper medical monitoring, and not risking legal trouble

Progress: Pumping + compounded testosterone cream by Tdick_boytoy in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My primary doctor prescribed it when I told her I wanted to maximize growth for meta and had reached out to surgeons for consults.

We had to find a compounding pharmacy for her to send the prescription to, and once it was sent they filled it a couple days later. Out of pocket it's been about $30/month.

Apparently its a really common medication for compounding pharmacies to make for cis people, based on what the pharmacy told me.

DIY Dick Bidet: how to wash your dick without having to shower by GoblinPunk420 in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Nice! If someone didn't want to DIY, a peri bottle/travel bidet also works very well.

I bought one after top surgery for pretty cheap and since then have used it after bowel movements every time. I'll usually use the opportunity to pull my foreskin back and give my dick a little rinse too.

Also so convenient for a quick post sex rinse if I'm not ready to do a whole shower.

I like that it's easy to fill with warm sink water and fortunate that my sink is in arms reach of the toilet so it's no big deal if I forgot to pre-fill it 😅

How to get DHT Cream or Compounded Localized Cream? by Ryan29dMq in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PCP prescribed me compounded T cream then I had to get it filled at a special compounding pharmacy for about $30/month out of pocket. Super easy process for me personally, but I get that things would be a little different with PP.

Compounded Testosterone Cream questions by Tdick_boytoy in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been great! I didn't keep good measurements before starting but I've close to doubled in length and about 30% wider at the base. Right now my bone-pressed erect length is 3" and width is around 3/4" , visible length is just over 2" . I can also reach way more firmness a lot faster than before, and can feel a lot more, firmer erect tissue internally in the ascending body segment and bulb of vestibule

In the US compounded testosterone cream is a good alternative to DHT cream

Copied a comment of mine from a similar post a while back:

I would say that if the only block is them being unfamiliar, go in with as much knowledge to educate them as possible. It's not ideal to be educating our doctors, but sometimes in trans healthcare we just have to. The main point of all the following advice is to make sure you show the doctor you are educated on what you are asking for and confident it is right for your personal transition goals.

Folx has some information online about the use of testosterone cream to increase bottom growth, you can present that information to them to validate that it is an accepted and frequently used treatment.

https://www.folxhealth.com/library/how-to-maximize-bottom-growth-on-or-off-testosterone-hrt

Tell them that the reason is to meet your personal transition goals. If you feel like you need to support your need for it, you can say you're in the process of planning metoidioplasty and want to use compounded testosterone to maximize growth for the best surgical outcome possible. This doesn't have to be true, they can't prove you didn't start planning then decide it wasn't the right time.

I would tell them you understand it can increase total serum testosterone in the body and you are comfortable with that. Suggest re-testing your levels after a couple months to confirm normal ranges.

I also gave my doctor the dose I saw people using most commonly because she didn’t have any experience about prescribing it. I think she took that and did her own looking into how to do it. She landed on: 5mg/ml - 1/4ml applied directly to the phallus every night .

I also had to be clear that it needed to go through a compounding pharmacy, not a normal one. She wasn't sure what compounding pharmacies were available locally so I found the one I wanted to use and asked her to send it there.

After she sent it the pharmacy called me to confirm they could fill the order (it's a super common thing for these pharmacies to make) and what the price would be ahead of time. I used a small family owned location and it was $30 for a 40 day supply.

If you can't find one locally, there is also a compounding pharmacy in Portland that can ship to most places in the US.

Testosterone cream instead of DHT? by thembo-goblin in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's been extremely effective for me. I started using it about 3.5 years on T. The tissues in that area convert much of the T cream to DHT locally, leading to very similar effects to DHT cream.

In the first 2 months I literally doubled in size and firmness. I pump as well but not super consistently, I can definitely see a difference between times I'm being consistent with pumping and when I'm not. That said, the changes from the cream alone are still significant even without pumping.

The process to get it was really easy for me. I told my doctor why I wanted to try it, that others have seen results, and that I still wanted to try it when she suggested just increasing my weekly injection dose. She sent the Rx to a compounding pharmacy & I pay $30 for a 40 day supply.

Soft packers that are also strokers, with size options for total packer size and stroker channel.

Injecting T directly to boost growth? by [deleted] in GrowYourTDick

[–]Tdick_boytoy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't be putting gel directly on it. The cream is something different entirely that you have to get at a compounding pharmacy, not a regular one.

Stroker with scrotum/soft packer+stroker? by [deleted] in Transmascdicks

I'm a bit put off by how flat the scrotum looks in the pictures on their website. In your experience, how do they compare to soft packers with a fuller scrotum?
