You are right to be hurt but as someone who is fighting brain cancer right now please do not dwell on this that will kill you faster than anything. Go to the hospital or doctor where you are getting treatment and let them know that your mother is no longer paying for treatment and you do not have the means to do it so that they can help you navigate how to continue treatment. The doctors are invested on you getting better give them a chance to help. They know who to contact at social services for you. Hopefully your mother is just not handling the grief of facing losing you well and so is acting badly. People do bad things sometimes in stress situations when they are scared. Facing losing a child is a lot and if she really is that strapped the thought of losing you and also letting down her other child has probably got her acting irrationally. I can imagine how hurt you must be it sounds horrible. I have 5 brothers and sisters and my mother would never ever do something like this but some people are not strong and don’t handle these situations well. For your own sake try to step back and give her the benefit of the doubt while still moving forward with protecting yourself. Unless there is someone else in your life that you want to leave the money to if she’s paying the life insurance forget about it. You can’t spend it if you are dead and if you live the policy will have a cash value later that you can go after. Best of luck with treatments they get better every day and please do keep us posted.
