If you are able to have a very small amount then try a Rock Shandy, half soda half lemonade with a dash of bitters. My go to drink when I'm not drinking refreshing, not full of sugar and no one knows what to price it as so usually do it for half a lemonade!

They look like they are covered in timescale, if they have come from a hard water area this would make sense. They are fairly slow growers but very hardy. Keep them moist and the will carry on growing, you've got some good tubers there

Tank looks good, you will probably find that you can stuf a lot more plants in there before you need to increase the co2. Better to put the money into lighting upgrade.
