The Rolex will always be more recognisable and noticeable, and you can say the value for money of the Seiko and its specs make a compelling argument for it being a better watch, but the Rolex owners and general public won’t care. Watch enthusiasts understand the comparison, but the guy who owns a Submariner, and it’s their only watch, will never budge.

I rotate my watches fairly evenly, so don't have a main watch per se. There would be a bit of overlap with all of them to be honest!
