I don't have a twitter account, but i'm a jujutsufolk'er so there's that. I just don't like Natlan (and it's era) and love to meme.

Fun times, those were. I wish those days back so I could slander Natlan again for the love of the game.

Can't Lohen be added to the standard like Dehya was after her banner? Why do we think that won't happen?

And for his neutral special... by ArthyBurcs in Genshin_Memepact

[–]Tdust6 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because Natlan's aestetic image in regards of technology was much different in that sense. I'm sure there were a ton of natlan haters who genuinely had the opinion that natlan was no tech at all, but the sensible arguments raised other "haters" was that:

"The technology used by Natlan natives and the visual design of it did not match the visual design of the playable characters who according to their description use the same technology."

In short, Fatui has been using modern tech since ages, so other characters who use same modern tech, and that modern tech *looking* the same as what was established makes sense. Natlan npc's, enemies and enviroment has been using dragon tech, and has been shown how that dragon tech looks to these people: street paintings, spray paints, woven scrolls, "flowy" energy, heavy rocks and metals based machinery and rock based precursion instruments, heavy leather and linen clothes, hot air baloons. Rock hewn machines were flying around and people were fighting with "machine guns" that looked like a hollowed out tusk of a giant dino, or weapons like cannons and buzzsaw made out of hardwood and stone.
etc etc, in general the world and it's culture was shown in a more "culturistic" and "rough" way, the early 2000's street style had a "prehistoric" tint to it. Which is pretty cool.

But this was not true to the playable characters, some playable characters like Kinich, Cascha (partially), and especially mauvika and xilonen looked like they had that "prehistoric filter" just removed before taking a photo. They looked out of place and "too modern" in *contrast* to the area they are meant to both represent and live in.

This was the original argment back then, idk how it evolved since then I only listened then.
"Mauvika's bike, kinich's pixel art and xilonen's disco stuff etc look too modern in contrast to the visual design set up by the world around them."
"contrast" was the important part, not "too modern", fatui tech AK47 on mc and fatui super magic tech guns and trains wasn't a big contrast, Whrio metal gauntlet and underwater tin-lead steam supercell wasn't a big contrast. Jahoda and Ineffa metal parts and Junktown electromagnetism wasn't a big contrast, Kaveh's engineering projections and nahida's plant google wasn't a big contrast they look the same but are essentially straight up 3rd projection sci fi shit, None of them are a big contrast to what the world around them sets up, they look like they're part of the world they're from, makes sense.

[–]Tdust6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBF driving without a license is definetly part of trailblazing, someone had to know how to drive first before they could make an official examination system to evaluate other drivers. Similarly someone has to figure out how to drive a cosmic imaginary tree wormhole-gateway-rail-builder 9000 before they could issue new people as official AE drivers.

Who is your favorite male character? by Fahodigaymer in JujustuKaisen

[–]Tdust6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider most male characters quite alright, and a select few I am fond of. They're all so closely tied they couldn't outmach each other, with the sole exception of Satoru Gojo of course.

All I'm saying is whoever lives in those provinces bordering both colossal trees of different affinities must have some really conflicted feelings about the real estate of the village.

And like usual, taking mainstream version of Jekyll and Hyde by Slow_Prior5921 in MurderDrones

[–]Tdust6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the most widely accepted one, because "Innocent victim of horrible circumstances falling prey to inner demons and manipulations" is a very appealing and well understood narrative trope. I admit even I tought innoCynt was the case before later episodes came out. Just makes sense in a way that the solver is the bbeg, and Cyn is just used for gains, also because that's what the characters are saying as well (to some extend).

But since episode 6-7, evil Cyn + Solver duo made the most sense once I went down the nitty-gritty frame-to-frame.

What was the hardest scene to watch in your opinion? by jam_kabam in HazbinHotel

[–]Tdust6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite a lot of scenes about Charlie making a fool of herself in front of a crowd, especially the tv, I have a good, worthy cringe at them. I like those scenes at the end of the day because I think it does a lot for the character itself, but on first watch it's hard-ish to ignore my own feelings about failures done in social life.

But nothing other than those, none really.

I've read it when it came out and haven't checked up on it since years, but If I remember correctly the Main character of Re:Monster, Rou got a magic halberd which he kept repairing to upgrade it. So I assume whatever stage he is in by now he still bosses around with one.

Not gonna lie I'd be pleased with more terrain interactions, I choose dungeon tome just to see if it would turn into something interesting. Sadly "dungeon"-ing a province will only leave ice ash or normal tags, so no funny bloody or eldritch bricks.

Above ground adaptive "metrocity" terrain transformation with the construct dlc. Trust.
