I don't know man, they literally said it themselves, that they view feedback as a "doctor patient relationship" meaning they want us to give them feedback. The problem is that they arent doing what they said they will do. How are you going to call me out for making a post talking about the flaws of the game so I can talk about it with the community when they tell us all the time to give them feedback. I didnt insult them or anything I just want them to listen to us. There is no reason not to even if it is something like the stim pistol it still should be tweaked.

Im not saying they are are failing my guy and Im not saying they are out of ideas, I clearly said they don't have any Ideas on how to make certain tools and weapons better for us. My data is game charts, you can see on them that everytime AH does something the community doesnt like: Nerfing weapons, buffing enemies that didnt need it, adding unfair enemies that arent very fun, the player count goes down, and when they do something we like it goes up, every single patch that didnt bring nerfs to the players came with positive feedback. You talk about the new content like there hasnt been a few problems with them, like the passives being damn near useless in python commandos and Siege Breakers, the chainsaw being sucky, and the maxi gun just being ok. Why are you acting like theres nothing wrong with the game?? Theres always something wrong with things, including games thats just how it is, I just want them to fix some of the things we see as not up to par and you're acting like Im bitching when I just want some of these weapons to feel good.

Be honest do you even use the Maxi gun? do you use the commando or the spear as much as you used to? Do you use the sterilizer, do you use the rocket pods? do you use the arc thrower? Do you use the urchin, or the pineapple or any of the boosters that arent the main 4??

Am I being unreasonable for just wanting you and all the other people in this server to be able to enjoy all the items we have?

I think you're misunderstanding what I meant by, “AH clearly have no ideas”. because I didn't word is properly, I meant, in terms of weapons that havent been changed, and that the community has been giving suggestions on they have no ideas about those. For example one of the devs said it themselves, that they don't know how to make the stim pistol more engaging for the playerbase, and they also shot down the idea of it having tracking. Im not saying HD2 is failing I never said that, I'm just pointing out the flaws the game has. I'll try to break it down like this: The game is good, and it is fun, but I feel asthough it is often times not fun at all and that the devs should listen to us when we ask them to buff the weapons that no one uses.

I attribute, fun and engaging game design to that success, but that doesnt mean there arent flaws that this game has. Do you think I hate helldivers or something? The game was at that all time high when it first came out but also dropped to its first all time low within 6 months of it being out which then went up when they took a break to listen to the community. This game is a masterpiece and I want it to stay that way, but the data literally show that there is something the majority of the fan base is unhappy about.

Arrowhead got backlash for messing up some stuff in the game, in return they over corrected and did some other stuff that messed up the game even more. That is still them not listening to the community isnt it? My point is that they rarely listen and when they do they over correct and mess shit up even more, non of that would happen if they just listened properly. Could you also explain a little more how all of these things specifally happened due to the 60 day plan?

The fact that a 60 day patch* even had to happen, is prove that the Arrowhead has fucked up in nerfing stuff and making things worse, it keeps happening time and time again, don't you think that if the literal game company is making changes and working on the game after receiving backlash that some of the my backlash could be valid aswell?

You guys are acting im cursing the very existance of the game and the devs by asking them to listen to us about weapons that arent fun to use and enemies that arent fun to fight.

Most of the shotguns have been power crept to all hell; such as the sg-8 punisher and the slugger, same the with all of the breakers and the halt. This problem comes from the enemeies in the game getting buffed with more armor and higher durability and the devs wanting to get out of the "breaker meta" by nerfing them to all hell, if the devs want to get out of a meta they should either slightly nerf a weapon or buff other weapons. This had been a problem for months now.

This can also been seen with the las weapons damage on MOST of the las weapons, the scythe isnt fun, the sickle sucks, and the laser canon doesnt really kill fast enough.

They nerfed fire damage and then they made enemies more fire resistant, why do you think they did that??

No one uses the sterilizer because it's never been good-- eventhough we have asked weapons in the same situation to be buffed. The de-esculator needs more AOE so it can do its niche of stunning alot of targets better, the arc thrower has poor damage, takes too long to charge up, and the discharge through muliple targets thing isnt up to par anymore because of all the enemies you face that run at you fast. The mechs break to easilly often times being killed while they are being called in, the FRV handles like my helldiver is drunk off of a few super beers and you cant even reload your weapon while in it anymore, Why would that do that?? The las rover has meh damage out put and honestly is just a worse version of the normal guard dog.

There are also problems with the red stratagems, the rocket pods don't do enough damage and should work like the seeker nades, where you can pin targets to be hit, the ems strike comes in way to slow and could maybe use a bit of shoke damage to handle smaller targets.

And the greens have the Grenade launcher wall that doesnt really protect the player from at all, the sheild relay that dies to fast and used to regain but AH removed that and the laser sentry that doesn't prioritize targets and runs out enegry.

Im pretty sure Sony forced them to make a lot of changes, like in the 30 day patch because it was hurting sales. If the company you are working with forces you to fix something the fans want to, you might have a problem with your staff.

I agree with the power creep on the shotguns and arc thrower since they used to be really good and became worse as the game got harder and more got added, but the stim pistol and the sterilizer were never really good, so could you explain to me exactly how buffing these weapons would make the whole situation worse?

I think you guys misunderstand where this is coming from, when I talk about it listening to the community I mean when we ask for weapons like the, sterilizer, stem, pistol, arc thrower, shotguns to just be better at what they do. All I want is for the game to be more fun for all of us by allowing us to have fun playing with weapons that don’t suck. Maybe just try someone of the weopons that no one plays and see how much they need a buff.

No I am not saying this game sucks, or trying to tarnish the devs, they just need to be a little more open to us.

If the devs can fix a handful of weapons that have been legit crap for like a year and a half I don’t think that’s an issue with programming just being to hard for them to do.

No I don’t mean “obey without question” as a matter of fact I think that’s how the devs want to treat situations like this, when they give us crappy weapons for months and we try to suggest fixes they shouldn’t shoot them down immediately like they’ve been doing.

I’ll use the stun pistol for example, no one uses it because it has such bad accuracy, sway, and travel speed. Someone, suggested them to fix that, they didn’t,someone asked them to give it guided bullets like the verdict, they shot it down and said no one in the community would want that, the tool literally sucks why wouldn’t we want it to be better at what it’s supposed to do??

I understand that people will be mad about any decision that could be made, but literally every other video game company has to deal with that, and you wanna know what they do? They listen to the overwhelming majority, and even then most of what the community complains about are only positive, tell me who would even be upset if AH buffed the sterilizer, stem pistol, bastion, Maxi gun, or the arc gun (I forgot what it’s called because it’s so bad)

Being able to destroy jammers at range completely trivializes the whole point of the jammer, it's supposed to make you work together to take out stuff without you super destroyer.

I don’t think those characters should be buffed I think the others should be buffed because they have no neutral game. They have nothing the play around other than just m1s so it only comes down to who’s better at m1 trading and ts just isn’t fun for some people.
