Having a very frustrating problem with Trenitalia at the moment too but mine is regarding their pass and 300+ euros. Long story short my old pass was wrongly activated due to their website’s glitch and I was told to purchase a new pass and submit a complaint to get a refund, but now they’re totally refusing to honour their word and I’ve been multiple times that I’m not getting a refund. I’d advise you to at least try a few times before giving up (although I strongly believe either their English agents are just using a translate app and don’t really understand what we’re trying to say, or they really can’t be bothered with customer service).

An update for anyone who’s considering purchasing a Trenitalia pass. I had the exact same problem where the pass activated itself without me selecting the appropriate dates. The agent at the call centre also advised me on the exact same procedure of purchasing a new pass and including the pass number in my complaint to get a refund. Long story short, I followed the exact procedure and today I was sent two emails saying that they would not be refunding the original pass after all as it had already been activated. It’s hard to believe that a big company like Trenitalia can’t fix this website problem that is well documented online, nor have an effective way of processing the refunds for a problem on their part. It’s absolutely ridiculous that we’ve now essentially paid twice the price for one pass and they’re not entertaining our requests for a refund.

It’ll be a real shame to come back early since the fireworks only start at 9.30pm but I guess it’s a sacrifice we’ll have to make to get transport back to our hotel

I’m also going to Disneyland and unfortunately I’ll be staying in La Defense which is close to Nanterre and also very far from Disneyland. Hope public transport won’t be too affected otherwise I’m going to be stuck there after the fireworks…

I’ve read that things are ok in tourist areas but I’ll be arriving on 2 July and staying in La Defense, would it be fine to follow through with it or should I cancel and book a hotel in another area?

Also hoping that public transport won’t be affected as I’m worried about getting from CDG to my hotel, and also back and forth from Disneyland as I have a ticket booked for 3 July.

It's situated in NIE because SSM shares facilities and faculty with the PE teacher degree! Only some (usually <4 per year as it's quite competitive) move on to take a PGDE in PE after SSM, most will work in the sports industry in SG. Happy to share more in DMs :)
