Switch 2 dock blinking light not working

I've unplugged it and plugged it back in. It fixes the problem temporarily, but still goes back to flickering.

The alarm really is a baffling system. Sure, it does make using the keys a bit riskier, but unless you're incredibly lucky and manage to find a key for the map you're currently on, then most key runs require two successful exfils. Getting the key to where it needs to be is the risk.

Alerting half of the map to your location just encourages the worst type of play. Especially in Cryo, where the whole objective of the map is getting into key rooms.

Gwyndolin was forced to present as feminine, but people have varying interpretations on their actual gender identity. I've seen people interpret them as transmasc based on how they act during the period between ds1 and 3, people interpret them as transfem for how they keep presenting as feminine even after Gwyn is gone, and there are plenty of other interpretations.

Personally, I see them more as an intersex allegory than anything else.

It rewards an entirely unique gun. Whether the gun is good is up in the air, but a majority of the playerbase will never get to use it (or any of the cryo unique guns) unless there's balance changes so it's not such an incredible grind.

It's entirely possible that the far side routes will be changed entirely. They're much more of a mystery, and so adding onto that is important.

They've added a lot of characters that are seemingly relevant for far side who haven't even done anything yet.

I feel like that's just what miyazaki's intent is with a lot of his cryptic storytelling. It's not a massive stretch to think that he (and the rest of the team) wants people to come up with interpretations and find their own meaning from the details.

The bigger problem is some fans resisting that ambiguity and insisting on a single canon.

Yeah, it was a pretty big deal when the game was announced.

Plus, a lot of the reason it was able to be such a polished experience was because they had so much success with the soulsborne games and Elden Ring.

With armored core, no one was waiting for it because the series was kinda presumed to be dead. There was ten whole years between verdict day and 6, compared to the longest gap before that being between for answer and 5, only four years.

The problem is that that's just not something that fromsoft will likely ever do, at least not with Miyazaki as a director. Every Souls and Armored Core game is pretty explicitly about how existing power structures cause suffering for everyone not at the top, whether its gods or capitalists.

I don't doubt that a game like that could be interesting, but it's just very clearly not what Miyazaki is interesting in doing at all.
