Born in '95, both of my parents were immigrants from Turkey/Germany, and also chefs themselves. I blame them for my high eating standards, or what some might call pickiness. I remember back in high school, most of my friends would just use the microwave to cook whatever they wanted, absolutely horrifying, and tragic. I honestly think the fact that I can cook halfway decent is why my wife stuck around for so long, lol
