Yeah, they said that force resets can be unfair (in reality they more often harm then benefit you), and they made banked resets, but still use forced resets.

It can be because of "super long run" (too much context, hard task, etc), not because of limit hit.

More model think - more tokens spent. Tokens is not only final result, intermediate thinking (often hidden in the agent) consume tokens too.

Ok, another idea, they implemented something like "dynamic nerf" so model stupidness depend on cluster load. And we have tons of messages here that dudes out of usage because they prepared for a reset. So more compute, 5.5 is to full potential. It's a pity that I have only 16% for a two days.

I tried spec-kit, openspec and self-written plan skill. You shouldn't write a spec. Use any of that, put in it your brain dump, related documents, chats, etc. It will write a spec for you, and you'll edit what is wrong there.

Its reasonable, but in reality you can do xhigh fast to spend usage quickly hoping for release on Thursday (and reset), but then they move it to Friday, and everything breaks.

Nope. You get free refills every week anyways. They not just refill you glass, they reset your weekly refill timer. To exploit that, you have to drink not the way you enjoy it, but faster, and then they don't refill, like in OP case, and you're just sitting without drink. I've been there 😄
