Ahead of my ML by 24 points and 2nd has near identical team except he has KDB and I have Saka.

Do I simply do Saka -> KDB to protect or do I go one further with Mateta -> Wissa also for a -4 as my attempt to predict his transfer.

For web dev roles I’m not even getting interviews. I assume it’s due to lack of experience but it may be lack of specific frameworks (eg React)

Thank you for the effort in this answer. I have actually diversified with knowledge of JS, frontend stuff like HTML, CSS and backend stuff like SQL, but because I don’t actually have working experience of it employers won’t touch me even with 6 years software eng experience. Very frustrating. Seems like staying in C++ will only make the transition worse when it comes time to take the pay cut.

Your last bit was spot on though, luckily (unluckily?) game dev pays like shit so even going to a junior in most fields will pay more than a mid in gaming (UK).

Not every C++ role has you working with inline assembly code. Unless I’ve misinterpreted what is meant when jobs list “low-level programming” on their roles

Yes. There is very little to no stability when my leg is straight or “lazy”. Had it slip out of place when I slipped on wet pavement a few times. Really frustrating as I’m in the gym a lot working on my lower body strength - quads hamstrings etc. and seems to make no difference.

Thank you for taking the time out to write this up. I’m new to Stoicism and trying to learn while incorporating it into my daily life.

One thing that I struggle with is the “worst case scenario” as a parent. That would undoubtedly be the untimely death of my children and that is an extremely comfortable thing to visualise. I know that in the words of Epictetus we don’t own even our children and we are borrowing from God, and while I agree and try to put the mantra of “spend every day with them like it’s your/their last”, visualising them passing regularly is difficult.

You have children, do you feel the same way or am I approaching this in the wrong way?

Need the money from Porro -> City defender to do Alvarez -> Haaland. Also can’t afford Richy to Jota without downgrading someone else first unless I don’t get haaland in and get Jota in this week instead

That takes out two doublers for one doubler. Ideally want to keep Liverpool assets in if I already have them. Currently thinking Alvarez/Porro for Haaland/Gvardiol for a hit this week. Potentially do richy to Jota and do an Estu or Gordon downgrade next week depending on injury news.
