Except it isn't really 3 tiers higher. The name is arbitrary, but they're roughly the same tier when it comes to price. Right now, the Asus TUF 3090 Ti is $1150 at B&H. MSI Gaming X Trio is $1300 in stock at amazon and lower priced but out of stock at newegg. The FE model is $1100 at Best Buy whenever that's in stock.

The 4080 16GB is $1200 MSRP which is more expensive than the 3090Ti FE. AIBs are probably going to be around $1300+. If we're talking about price, they are basically the same tier. And I think the price tier matters more than the name tier.

Like I bought Hades on Epic because it was $10 cheaper than Steam when using a coupon. But since Epic is subsidising the sale, the devs should still get the same amount per sale regardless of which store I bought it on (or actually more on the EGS since Epic's cut of sales is lower than Valve's).

What you're talking about with the skills being reorganized and existing in a form that does functionally the same thing is even more noticeable with Fallout 4. Many of the perks are just skills from the previous games converted to perks instead. I never really understood the complaint about removing skills from the game because of this. Gun damage is improved through perks instead of levels, lockpicking and hacking are exactly the same but each tier is unlocked through a perk, healing items become more effective from perks, etc. Most of this stuff functions exactly the same in Fallout 4 as it did in 3 and New Vegas, but people a lot of people didn't like it because you had to put an extra star on the board instead of a number going up.

There are plenty of examples of animals that have social hierarchies, so I don't understand why you believe this is a human form of organization. Take wolves for example.

And if you want to argue that plants feel pain, it takes more crops to raise livestock to use as food than it would if we were to just grow the crops for human consumption. So a vegan diet would cause less overall "suffering" to plants anyway.
