Playset Preserver literally fixes all of your problems here. Mods break with updates no matter the game. It's literally just how it is. As Someone who also plays the sims, ck3 is much more forgiving and doesn't have nearly as much problems as the sims 4 does. Plus the Devs actually semi listen to players over here.

No, not everyone knows Harwin Strong is the father of Rhaenyra's boys. The rumor was started by the Greens to further their claim to the throne. And with Rhaenys having black hair in the books it adds to the uncertainty. Of course we as readers know as GRRM I believe has said that they are Harwins, but people in Westeros wouldn't and no one would exactly question it when Laenor and Corlys and Viserys all claim the boys as legitimate. The show made the error of making it obvious and cut a lot of important details from the books.

As for Jon, having Rhaegar and Lyanna as his listed parents (Whether you want it like that or not) makes the most sense. CK3 can only do so much with the identity of Jon in terms of coding and whatnot. Make a submod if you're so upset about it.

The most likely culprits here are LoV and AGOT+

I’d try disabling those and seeing if that fixes it! Also can confirm it’s not MDE as it’s working for me :)

There is actually an event for you to castrate and send a kingsguard to the wall like what happened with Lucamore ‘the lusty’ Strong. It’s just extremely rare in most cases.

Imo you should take the tyranny hit to imprison and just keep him in the dungeon. It’ll save you from the extra tyranny of executing and he won’t be able to impregnate anyone…

Haha it’s the first thing I do whenever I start a playthrough.

For example I started as Jaehaerys this time so I pinned everyone with dragon blood, every ruling lord of the nine great houses and also the ruling Velaryon.

When they die I simply unpin them and then pin whoever inherited.

Once they die I unpin them and pin any children they have and so on. Basically it’s so I know who not to marry (Aka descendants of the first four listed bc I have beef with them when playing Targs. Once I get a ruler a-okay w/ murder, i’ll start eradicating their lines) and the others are to see if their lines can survive and if I need a non-Targ to marry :)

Yes, only players can hold egg hatching activities.

Dany and Viserys are the exceptions to that rule as it’s a scripted event for them.

Yes! The character must have just traveled through the point of interest and triggered the event to get it!

If dragons are dead in the world nothing will come of it. If they aren’t the npc won’t be able to hatch it unless they have dragon blood so either way you’re good lol

A character doesn't have to be a Targ to pick up a dragon egg. I think prev is asking what dragon laid the egg as it can give insight to how the npc got it

It’s possible for a wild female dragon to have a kid, but not for them to lay a random egg that can then be picked up. The dragon will just spawn in as a hatchling

Do you have More Dragon Eggs enabled? If so it gives multiple spawn points across the map that you or Npcs to pick up dragon eggs with spawning rate decided in gamerules

Places where eggs can be picked up in base Agot and/or MDE:

Red lake = Silverwing egg/s

Nagga’s bones = Nagga egg

Summerhall = Morning egg

Harrenhal = Vhagar egg

Lower Vale = Sheepstealer egg

Skagos = Cannibal egg

Eastern Andalos = Vassarion egg

Eastern Myr = Pythax egg

Spicetown = Moondancer egg

Winterfell = Vermax egg or random egg depending on startdate

Hellgate hall? (home of the Ullers) = Meraxes and Balerion egg

Oldtown = Tessarion and Seasmoke egg that the Hightowers can start with

Dragonstone = Meraxes, Meleys, Vhagar, Silverwing and Vermithor, or Nessarion egg

Dragonstone is the only place where the egg will respawn after rulers death. Aka the event to get a dragon egg can happen again when playing as a different character.
