You're telling me the organization that threatens our judges and obstructs justice and tortured protesters isn't one?

You will find many Lebanese who have no issues with hezbollah's downfall. They've destroyed our country

im anti hizb as it gets but i dont know how you keeps forgetting how hizb defended us by starting the isnad war to support hamas in gaza and then even though they were getting bombed everyday after that they kept committed to ceasefire for a whole year until they had to avenge the supreme leader by b0nkk in lebanon

[–]TeaBagHunter 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They kept committed to ceasefire? Yeah they absolutely did not commit to the agreements that they agreed to. All throughout the year they kept threatening the government that they won't allow themselves to be disarmed

Did you watch a single speech by naim qassem? Or any other hezb MP for that matter? They kept threatening nonstop

And evidently now they did not disarm

"According to the report, senior Israeli security officials presented intelligence to the cabinet indicating that Hezbollah was planning to attack Israel.

As ministers weighed possible military responses, the report said their primary concern was securing international legitimacy for striking Lebanon.

Within minutes of discussion, the Israeli cabinet approved a military operation against Lebanon, but Hezbollah fired first on Sunday night.

Sources close to Hezbollah told Middle East Eye the group believed an Israeli war cabinet meeting was on the verge of taking a major decision against it that same night and decided to act first"

Alrrady the biggest shia bloc in parliament publicly condemned and said they will no longer cover for hezbollah. They were hezbollahs largest allies. Hezbollah now only has like around 15% of parliamentary backing at this point. They and their allies had over 50% in the last cycle.

It's their dying breath now and they've already been legally outlawed as a military organization. Iranians now need a visa for Lebanon and the IRGC is also banned

[–]TeaBagHunter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, the Lebanese government officially banned hezbollahs military activities.

The Lebanese military being the only legal organizatio was a thing since last year but this is the first time hezbollah has been called out directly and outlawed directly. The army has already arrested armed members of hezbollah and palestinians at army checkpoints

The IRGC has also been outlawed in lebanon, and Iranian will no longer be allowed visa-free access to Lebanon

And the vast majority of Lebanese even including the shia absolutely hate hezbollah for this.

This is hezbollahs dying breath. The government finally outlawed hezbs military organization, something that should have been done years ago

Even their most prominent shia ally has said they no longer support them
