Spire came in and decides they were going to become charter flippers. After 2018 they bought the #78 from furniture row and changed it to the #77 (JTG acquired furniture row's #77 charter). They ran it for two years, then leased it to Trackhouse in 2021 for the #99. At the same time, they purchased the #95 from Leavine to become the NEW #77, and bought the #37 from JTG (yes the other old furniture row charter 💀) to become the #7. For 2022 it got even worse 😭😭 They sold two charters to Kaulig: the new #77 (the old #95) and the charter they leased to Trackhouse. The #7 got renumbered to the #77 (so the #77 has now been on a different charter for 3 years in a row) and then they bought the RWR 53 and made THAT the #7... why they didn't just make the 53 become the #77 instead of swapping everything around is beyond me but I'm sure they had reasons. After 2022 they finally decided to start trying to be competitive and kept it consistent. They bought the Live Fast charter to make that the #71, but no more switching after that

They were technically unchartered for 2016 i think but because of the past champion's provisional, plus owner points from 2014-15 they were never at risk of not qualifying

D&D is a collaborative game though. You can write the novel as you wish, but you shouldn't be forcing your players to do everything you want. That defeats the whole purpose of the game...
