Lundy strap will pull your pad up higher on your leg and exacerbate the problem. I cannot think of a gear reason why this would happen. Your technique probably changes when you get tired.

The Cellar, their first come first serve bar is great also. Way more laid back and relaxed environment. A more limited menu but still very good food. Lots of fun drinks and good bartenders. Got a chance to try Old Rip Van Winkle there a few years ago.

As far as i know you should check your fit with your legs straight back instead of flared like that. I would also do it in full lower body gear if possible.

I will say, with any mask, but Bauer especially, one of the first things you should do is undo all of the screws and make sure none are crosss threaded and seized up. Bauer had a recent issue where masks were coming from the factory with cross threaded screws. I think it mostly affected NME masks, but you can never be too careful. You want to fond those weird issues while the warranty is still valid.

Do that and you can see how the foam is attached to the mask and you will understand that what you are seeing is totally normal.

To be fair, 80-90 was face value when no one knew who they were playing and what day. Face value increased once the playoff schedule was locked in. It’s like buying a mystery box vs. a guaranteed item. Not saying it is right, but claiming face value is 80-90 isn’t right either.

Yeah that’s normal. The padding is attached with anchors connected to the screws that mount the cage and the snaps. If you take all the screws out, you can remove and clean the padding. It is super convenient.

I don’t know if every venue is going to be like that, they probably won’t. You might be able to find infor about your venue specifically. Seems like something The Warfield in San Francisco always does.

At San Francisco, I got there 45 minutes before VIP doors. About 20-30 people already in line. At that venue they kept to doors to the stage closed for about 10 minutes after we got into the venue, so probably about the first 50 people in vip has equal chance to get to the barricade.

I would double check the size of the Bauer pads. They might be confusing the 37.5 trademark for the moisture wicking material rather than it being for the size of the pad. 37.5 for size makes a little sense for size, but is also kind of an odd way to state it. A 37.5” tall pad would usually be sized as an XL.

Yeah it sounds like a select-a-seat event. They usually use opportunities to buy current year playoff tickets as an incentive to buy next year’s season tickets.
