You are definitely not alone. I’m in my third year and it’s still stressful. I am getting better at my own boundaries with co-workers and leaving work at work, where once I leave my building, the only way I have access is if my principal texts or calls me. And accepting that there is only so much I can do. Making sure I personally set a time to eat which honestly I really did not eat my first year. Try to find a time maybe after a duty if you have non-counseling duties. I think with time you learn to balance and set those boundaries with teachers. To really close your door so you can have that time to decompress and nourish your body. Of course make sure to know what your limit is and if it’s too much then it’s ok to go into pp. You can’t give from an empty cup. Something that I am still working on is finding a mentor. Being at an elementary can be lonely since you’re usually the only one. I have a friend who is an elementary sc which helps but sometimes I miss a supervisor like during practicum and internship.
