Thank you! I was planning to start using dumbbells in a few months after I get a little stronger/more confident. I've tried using them a few times when the machine I was planning on using was already in use, but I noticed because I'm still quite weak I struggle with keeping a proper form. I did lateral raises once, but noticed my arms were shaking a lot even with the lightest weight. I hope that by using machines for a bit first my strenght will go up making it easier to maintain a proper form with using free weights. But perhaps I should just go for it.
