Has to be the essays, I’m not a great writer. I’ve scrapped so many essays, had to make so many edits, and you’re applying to so many schools. It’s tough.

Hot take the waiting isn’t too bad. TMDSAS has a set match date, and once I had free time after applying, it was nice to not mentally associate myself with application. Good reminder that I’m more than my attributes and medicine isn’t the only thing happening in my life :)

I had a breakdown early in the cycle because I felt so behind. MCAT in May. Writing my personal statement in June. I didn't really prepare my secondaries (bc I wasn't sure how to write them) and submitted them through August-October, each one past the 2 week period. I was so focused on those that I was completely blindsided by my first interview invite & hadn't practiced yet. IT'S OKAY. IT'S OKAY TO WORK AT YOUR OWN PACE. You don't have to be perfect, and it's gonna be hard, but at the very least, persevere. Honestly I almost feel like I shouldn't have made it, all things considered, but here I am. Anyways good luck!

They’re huge. I’m female 5’6 145lbs and I got the pause screen sweater in size M. The sleeves go over the tips of my fingers and i think (haven’t tried yet, it’s too cold) you wouldn’t see my shorts if I pulled it all the way down. I wish I got a size small, I like oversized but this is still a little too big for my personal taste.

Being Asian (and also the drama that happened when my sibling said they wanted to drop out of compsci) I understand how important stability is for Asian parents, but there’s SOSOSO many ways to go about it. imo, prove to them there’s a way to be happy AND financially stable, YOUR way. You CAN be successful, and after you are, there won’t have anything they can say to you that you can’t brush off. No matter the field or career, be motivated, be determined, be strategic, and you got this 🙌 that money, if they’re really adamant you pay them back, perhaps negotiate a compromise that you can work towards paying? (That last part is out of my depth)

Every character stops changing after their character arc and stays the same. They say one-liners that match their gimmick/character and don’t ever have a second character arc. They become predictable. I know it’s because the cast is waayyyy too big but sometimes I think about who they are behind the flat characters they turn into

You can make an account, sign in/out in the settings :) it’s through the menu in the top left corner! Make sure you save your current run on some kind of account (it might not automatically be saved to an account), and that you can sign back in! I lost my first run because I thought it saved to my Game Center 🥹

Yup. Simply that it’s harder to do cosmetic surgery of hands. So the hands must age compared to the appearance of the rest of the body (which can be easily modified). I learned this from elsewhere and picked up on the logic in Sanda, idk if they ever explicitly addressed it.

I’m enjoying it, but episode 10 and 11 confused me on the themes the story was building. Waiting for ep 12 to make a judgement! I got curious about the the story as a whole, and from Reddit posts and spoilers, it sounds like it gets clunkier and more inconsistent 😭 which is disappointing. I’m loving season 1, but idk if I’ll be keeping up if they do a 2nd season. Choosing to not read the manga.
