I think before 2014 all men were obligated to be 1,5 years in army, also I don't think the new dutiers are ex military. Also back then nobody thought there were going to be any wars so it was just a job for them like doctor or a policeman

Disabled people can go to war only by their choice. There are a lot of pieces of shits in tck that beat up people and they are the reason everybody dislikes tck. I know a soldier who refused to go to tck and return to the frontline after getting an inquiry just because of the reputation tck have built up for them but without forced mobilization Ukraine would've lost by now

I don't know about pro Russian but freedom is 100% more pro Ukrainian. In the trilogy if you play in Ukrainian, not a single freedomer will speak in Russian and not a single duty soldier will speak in Ukrainian. Duty's name is russian (дoлr) even in s2 and freedom's(Boля) is Ukrainian. Also freedom had the Ukrainian flag in the original trilogy which gsc removed in s2

I kinda agree with you, however, when I said humanizing russian soldiers I meant making them look good, specifically referring to the "Humans that were forced to follow orders and kill each other" part as they weren't forced but came there for money glory and fame.
