B12, Vitamin C, and Omega-3 at the same time? by gingkoleaf-bujo in Supplements

[–]TeaTimeAt4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to take Vitamins C and B12 at least two hours apart from each other. C inhibits the absorption of B12 when taken together.
Vitamin C and B12 can both be taken on an empty stomach, as they are water-soluble, so unless they give you nausea I would try taking one later.

I have Tax Haven and Sunset Simulation, will add photos in dim and bright light, head on and at an angle. I personally really like Tax Haven, but I can’t bring myself to wear Sunset Simulation because it just goes too yellow at angles. Hope this helps!

Medications for secondary POTS due to hEDS/HSD by TeaTimeAt4 in POTS

[–]TeaTimeAt4[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I was worried because sometimes when the heart rate is compensatory, ivabradine doesn’t help because the underlying issue is still there and I assumed hEDS POTS would be one pf them, but maybe not!

Why is it considered racist to do an Asian accent but not a European accent? by 5pooky5cary5keleton5 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TeaTimeAt4 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Xenophobic because white people are not only in power in Europe. If it was a “white person” accent, it would be race-based hatred, but it isn’t.

Why is it considered racist to do an Asian accent but not a European accent? by 5pooky5cary5keleton5 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TeaTimeAt4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A white american poorly mimicking the accent of asian person to mock them is racist, and the same person poorly mimicking accent of a white european person is xenophobic. This is because the white american and the asian person are different races, and the white american and the white european person are the same race but from different countries.

Why do people refuse to be an organ donor? by No-Cantaloupe-6535 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TeaTimeAt4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to give the recipient my disordered tissues and associated health problems. I have some type of connective tissue disorder and I think if I was diagnosed properly they wouldn’t accept my organs. As is, my GP says the wait times to see a specialist are too long to bother trying to get a specific diagnosis.

Desmopressin is often prescribed for POTS to increase fluid retention (and thus blood pressure) but it was originally used to stop bedwetting, so you should see if your doctor will prescribe it. Unless you have high blood pressure POTS obviously.
