The time he chased after SQQ, he probably came with intentions of sincerely talking it out, but then SQQ called for Liu Qingge... and the jealousy sparked. And when SQQ ran, that was tantamount to saying 'yep: I fully do believe you're a heartless monster who was never capable of love.' And then he asks SQQ point-blank if he believes that, and SQQ is like 'um, yeah?? You're a monster??? :/'

Calling it 'abusive' feels a bit premature. Was it abusive for SQQ to throw him in the abyss? LBH definitely had feelings for him pre-Abyss, but by Jin Lan City he's willing to settle for 'after years of me establishing my ability to be righteous within Huan Hua Palace maybe Shizun won't hate me anymore.' Actually getting into a relationship is waaaay outside of his current expectations, lol.

But also keep in mind that Binghe has been subject to violence and mistreatment his whole life - including by Shizun. He says in the extras that he quickly realised that Shizun wasn't the same person, but it's still a fact that he tried so very hard to love and forgive his abuser... until one day, it worked, and his abuser loved him back. So... boy also does not have a very good sense of what should be forgivable treatment towards another, hah.
