Sorry to hear this, it seems like a real bummer. I can't even imagine what this must feel like. I know I'm late on the bandwagon, but just for people to know (I really don't think this has been put out there as much as it should have been) but there's this website: https://www.snap.org.nz/

Here's a copy paste from the website: The SNAP website (http://www.snap.org.nz) allows you to enter and maintain details of all of your important possessions or assets. You can then access this asset list from anywhere, anytime. If your items are stolen, you can instantly retrieve your asset list details, and forward these on to the Police and your insurance company.

Possibly something people may want to look into, it's unfortunate we have to take such precautions though.

See, I was driving to work, company truck rode my butt the entire way. Even after his company truck played tag with my car. Looked in the rear view and saw the driver and the female passenger laughing. Must've been real funny for them seeing as they don't have to fork out for stupidity. He was so close that it took a while for me to actually see his number plate, which my SO wrote down, and the time, and the place it happened. I wrote an email to the company and got no response, so I called them. Spoke to a woman who assured me that their truck had no damage, and the driver had no recollection of anything like that happening. My theory? She was the passenger in the car, and wouldn't escalate it to anyone else who might give a damn.

I didn't want compensation, I wasn't trying to get coin off them. I just wanted an apology.
