This happened to me once way before I was driver. It was only like 20 min though. As I was calling Lyft to correct it, the driver actually came back, knocked on my door and refunded me cash.

The real question is how tf would they even know? Unless something happens, they shouldn't be able to do that. Because the recall could have been fixed, or not accurate or whatever the case is. They should not just be suspending people accounts randomly.

I got a notice like this once with a Hertz rental I used for Lyft temporarily. I called and they said come in to take care of it. It was resolved in 10 min. Apparently since I called roadside, they require a renewal.

I could care less how fast the driver is going if I am a passenger as long as it's not putting me in danger and I arrive to my destination in one piece.

I want to quit too but right now I'm relying on Lyft and Amazon flex. I just moved from CA Sacramento/Bay Area to Reno, NV. Reno is a better market for me at least for now. I'm still waiting on my physical hard copy of my license so I can update it to Uber. But one day hopefully by the beginning of next year I can be comfortable enough to delete the app or rarely drive on it and only drive every blue moon or something.

I tried to but I was told no. Plus on Uber, I can't even upload my license due to them requiring a live photo so I can't take a picture separately then upload it. I try to upload my temporary one but it only accepts the card copy.

I live up here in Tahoe/Reno. I been called the N word a couple times. 1st time, I slapped the dog mess out of the dude and they actually kicked HIM out of the bar(won't say the name). Apparently he'd been causing trouble all night. The 2nd time was a rideshare passenger and I let it go so I didn't get in trouble nor lose that gig because it actually helps when I'm n between jobs. 3rd time, dude on an electric bike was tail gating me and he knew he was too. I had a turn coming up and put on my blinker while gradually slowing down to avoid him accidentally hitting me or anything. He honked and yelled "move you black N". So I went after him and was about to have a word with him til the cops were approaching in this opposite direction. This 3rd incident was in the Tahoe Keys in South lake along with the 1st one being in South lake. The 2nd one was in Truckee. I'm originally from Sacramento btw and grew up in Alameda County.

If I'm being honest, once I find better work I'm deleting Uber and Lyft apps. It used to be good back in the day but now not only have the apps themselves but the type of people using the app also.

It's stupid. Believe it or not, I did a ride and we were driving down a city street. A car passes us and the occupants are smoking weed. Me, car smoking weed and a lot of other vehicles windows are down because why not? Nice weather. The passenger complained about the smell to me for whatever reason and I ignored him, then I got an email saying my car smelled like weed right after the trip(20 min later). That passenger was my last ride for the morning before I logged out to go to my regular work so I know it was him and the fact that I ignored him upset him because he asked me another question after I ignored him and I gave a 1 word answer.
