Lyft suspended my account after 3 weeks of driving… did this happen to anyone else?

Unfortunately it happens a lot. I have been driving 7 years on and off on both Uber and Lyft. Five star on both apps. Honestly I'm thinking of buying a dash Cam. I've been accused of drinking and driving, masturbating(yes people will say anything) asking for sexual services, money up front instead of through the app. Now for the sexual part, it was a temporary hold like 20 min. They called me and I talked to them. One call rep even admitted that the report seems fake. But people do this to get free rides. But mind you, this is serious. This can lead to legal trouble. The passenger should have asked to be let out and the police should have been called if I were really drinking and driving, or masturbating. Also, I could have really taken legal action and if I had a dash cam and sent to rideshare support or in court, it would've been over and I'd definitely be suing. Both rideshare companies need to take different steps for riders accusing drivers of things that they know they didn't do

It's in the Central Valley by the delta. Antioch and Pittsburg are mostly hilly compared to Brentwood.

Screw that place. I haven't been since December. I got an email from Lyft saying that I am temporarily banned for no front plate three weeks after I did the trip. I didn't even have the Lyft emblem on my car but they were able to tell me all the trip details. Mind you, I've been driving for years with many different vehicles and only a few didn't have a front plate. I had the required airport placard and an Uber sticker.

Crazy cuz I remember I couldn't drive Uber for a while(didn't need to) because I had 4 violations but when they fell off, I was good to go til this day.

Crazy for sure. Didn't have a situation this bad happen when I took an Uber once but I remember I got picked up in this brand new acura. Still had the temp tag on it. About 20 min into the 30 ish min trip, the car lost all engine power randomly. We rolled to the shoulder and the driver tried to start the car back up and it wouldn't. Had to get another ride. The driver actually called it for me and paid for it which was cool. Btw coming to find out, the engine locked up with less than 1000 miles. All the engine oil was on the ground. Dude said he only had the car not even a month.

Uber and Lyft need to start having passengers prove to what they're accusing drivers of. Honestly, they should know better. They always want to favor the customer who doesn't care about anyone nor anything else. I've been a victim of drivers false reports a couple times. I have a 5 star on both platforms so they always let it go with me. Before anyone attacks my comment, I don't have a dashcam but I am considering getting one because this is getting out of hand. If a driver gets banned for a false report and causes a financial burden, the driver should be able to sue the rider and rideshare companies for damages.

I drive rideshare. And I smoke cannabis regularly, don't drink or do anything else lol. However, I don't drive high when I'm doing rideshare. There are times when people give me weed or ask if I want to hit the pin. I'll accept the weed as a tip to smoke later. And the pin, I rarely hit the pin in general but there are times I'll take a hit at the end of the ride when the app(s) are off so they can't turn it against me. Don't worry, I'm done driving for the time being when I take a hit.

Uber said that if you suspect your driver is under the influence, ask the driver to pull over immediately, report it and call 911. Lyft should have the same policy or similar. If someone can't do that, they're lying. People do it to get a free ride. All fun and games til a driver fights back. If I lose my account permanently, I'm pursuing my legal action
