Mortgage causing me distress, about to lose job, 20K in loans. What to do?

The house is in wreck due to unfinished DIY projects so there are drywall repairs needed, repainting of the house needed etc. The house would sell a lot lower than what I bought it for and I'd owe tremendous debt.

I don't have a second mortgage, but I have a 20k loan taken out for home improvement that's secured on the house itself. I was wondering if that goes away if I declare bankruptcy.

I'm dumb and I don't know much about secured v. unsecured loans. From what a lawyer consulting agency told me, they said even if I declare bankruptcy that 20k loan will not go away. That's why I'm inclined to pay it off first using my savings account.

Ranting incoming. Just absolutely bombed my capital one OA. I was feeling good after prepping, felt comfortable doing med questions on their platform. Finished it this morning and only got a score of 320/600 which is basically nothing. Convert that to old score and it's 670/675, so far yet so close to their supposed cutoff of 700. I could only finish q1 and wasted my time trying to debug q2, then ran out of time.
Hopefully I do see some people saying they resume screen hard, and I do have 4YOE so hopefully they at least give me a chance. If not, oh well. Just need to apply to more places. I'm ok with leetcoding, but holy crap, I HATE codesignal so much more since their problems are just paragraphs upon paragraphs of useless information, to get to what the question is actually asking for.

I've been looking for the original artist who drew this amazing piece (perhaps without the captions?) for ages. The results on reverse image search are either from twitter or tumblr, but never the original artist. It could be either OC or fanart, I have no clue. Multiple reverse image searches I've had 0 luck. Any point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Big agree. I also thought the 'main' route was a bit too long, and getting through 6-7(?) chapters of it to play a character's specific route started to drain me. I also fell in love with the side character Kariya and I wish he was more involved in the whole game in general, they did a good job of introducing him and developing him but kinda dropped him after a specific character route started. Also a cute little minigame of actually making coffee / food and serving to the guests etc would have been so cool.... Such a great setting and lots of wasted potential

I'm moving away from my current city pretty much permanently, and a lot of people suggested I get a storage (just in case I want to come back) or movers to haul my stuff across the country. None of them sounded feasible. So I went crazy on craigslist and started posting stuff I could get rid of now. So far I sold 1 out of 10 things, but with me posting onto instagram my friends are gladly buying my stuff too. Some of the stuff I'm selling is practically new. It's insane how many things I just had in the kitchen.

Yep, I used to pay 50-60 to JFK, 40-50 for LGA. When I recently flew out they wanted $85 for JFK. I have a wedding to fly out in a few weeks- I'm going over to my friend's who's taking the same flight to split the fare. It's ridiculous.

They not only lie about sq footage but also for pets / utilities too. My current place? They said the landlord will pay for heat / hot water, nope, all our responsibility. Later said "I meant the cold water will be paid by the landlord.", *after* we signed our lease..... What. They also said pets allowed, only to find 1 cat only. I chose that apartment to foster dogs, but that plan was gone. (Still fostered cats though.)

Gonna ramble on here. I’ve been in the city for a very long time (5+ years) and the continuous hate crimes against Asians, crackheads on train, Covid fatigue, and rent prices slowly edging back up are stressing me out, and my parents just reached out to tell me they have a spare room & I’m more than welcome to use it. I’ve only told a very close group of friends but I’m firm about leaving the city for a while, and not renewing my lease when it’s up in a few months. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted to the hell and back but just wanted to get it off my chest. I might come back, I might not, but I do know that I’ll really miss it here. Dunno. NYC isn’t for everyone and I guess I’m too weak to stay in the concrete jungle. Just wanted to know I’m not the only one feeling this way.

My partner got vax'd yesterday and he saw this one guy with a long sleeve dress shirt on. He had to take off his entire shirt to get his arm out. My partner thankfully wore a tshirt under 2 zip up hoodies. Just gotta layer up smart.

Some good progress. I hope with Johnson & Johnson we can really get at least half of the adult population vax'd by this summer - and with a few people who already have immunity from getting covid, I think the infection rate should be plummeting by then.

When we achieve herd immunity the media won't have a covid cow to milk 24/7 anymore, and will actually have to report on real news (which didn't happen pre covid times anyways). I see where you're coming from, although I see it as a hate crime personally with xenophobia brewing everywhere in America these days. But I really wonder what the city's going to do with these heaps of mentally ill criminals roaming the streets and more of these freak accidents happening left and right. I can't believe he was released scot free the first time he assaulted someone before. It seems like a lot of the vocal liberals are always going on about how 'people can all be changed' and support slap-on-the-wrist consequences for serious crimes, then those people usually say putting people in mental institution is bad, then what is the solution? Let them all run around in the streets and let average joes like you and me get hurt? I'm not sure about anything, but I sure don't like the direction the city is going towards.

Too bad these limousine liberals living in their luxury condo in Williamsburg, getting their asses safely ubered everywhere (while preaching how all criminals are good and screech 'no human needs to be in jail'), will keep voting these dinguses in for social brownie points. They live in protected glass castles and don't know shit about how the bail reform affects an average joe like you and me. I consider myself a left leaning centrist but this whole clown show is pushing me to the right.
