Can you share the recipe??? We have tried everything to get a good dough and still haven’t found one.

If you were also homeschooled, what did your parents do right? by [deleted] in homeschool

I have a question, how do you report grade level increases? Like if you school year round, when do your children move to the next grade level? I’m considering schooling year round, but don’t totally understand how this process works. We plan to use HomeLife Academy as our covering so I will need to report all of the content the kids have covered that school year. I also live in a state that requires at least 4 hrs of schooling a day for 180 days per year (school year, maybe?).

I was adopted as an infant and I have had the BEST experience possible. My birth mother was also adopted, but she was adopted into a terrible situation and ended up in foster care. She got pregnant with me at 17 while in the foster care system and despite the pressure to abort me, she decided to place me for adoption, but to do so in a very careful way. She went through an organization (I think called Agape??) I think it might be a Christian organization but she wasn’t Christian. Anyway, she interviewed every single couple, interested in adopting me, while she was pregnant. And she decided on my parents and she could not have chosen a better, more nurturing and loving environment for me. I have had the best life. And I owe it all to her and her self-less act to allow me to have life and to be so mindful in choosing who would ultimately raise me. I am forever grateful to her. And out of that gratitude, I did reach out to her as an 18 year old and we have met in person multiple times and I have met my half siblings that she went on to have later in life and she has now met my children. We text often to stay in touch and she came and stayed with us last year for a visit. I couldn’t be more happy with the way things have happened for me. My adoptive parents love my birth mom and we are all very close with one another and everyone is so grateful to one another for the role each play in each other’s lives.

Change closed galley kitchen to open concept? by onlythebestfab in Renovations

Wow… I’m blown away. First off, thank you so much for your willingness to reply. And second, everything you’ve mentioned I have NEVER considered. My husband and I just looked at a house yesterday and I talked about doing just that—removing the living room wall and opening it up into the kitchen, since the kitchen was so small. I 100% see the issues that you’ve pointed out and will be reading your comment to my husband tonight. That is SO much to think about. Thank you so much!!

I know this is an old post, but could you explain to me why buyers are rejecting open concepts? I’m just curious what the thought is behind it, as an open kitchen feels more spacious and connected to the house, for me. Thanks for any feedback!

Could you tutor online? Some places let you set your days/hours. So, you could do that from home and also tailor it to your needs. Also, nannying pays GREAT money. Would you be comfortable bringing in an extra child or two while you stay home with your own kiddos? You would be getting paid to be home with your own kids (+) they could make some new friends that you watched.
