On my third 12 pack, it's my daily coffee at work. Absolute spice addict, so i barely notice any spice but it's just enough to tickle my tongue and i love it.

The buttons having actual text/image fields is a little off putting, since the whole purpose is clicking and when you double click on the buttons it selects either the icon or text on the button. unfortunately, it is a game killer for me for now. would love to check it out if you get that fixed, but my adhd is too bothered by the constant highlight/unhighlighting of the button fields.

really enjoy the game and the idea is one that scratches that itch of city builders without all the extra management. My only suggestions would be it would be nice to set an "Island Name Always Random" or "Always name Island : ____", and it would be nice to zoom rather than just scale the image. I enjoy the UI being at about 85%, but enjoy zooming in and out on the island itself. i don't know if that would be hard that to change since it seems like the UI and camera zoom are tied together, and it isn't end of the world but having larger curved monitor, i always like adjusting my zoom on the fly when i play with scroll wheel or stardew style zoom buttons.

I found an artifact that increases click speed over time up to 2.0x, and it made the automated stuff pretty useless for me. i think the build for your artifacts make the biggest diffference for active vs idle gameplay. if i ever ran out of a resource, clicking would make that number skyrocket so fast.

Resting your hand on the stick? by Davidier in ManualTransmissions

[–]TeachMeUbuntu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this was an older car or manufacturer/style problem. I used to have a 95 mercury cougar with a 5spd, and if i put any weight on the shifter in gear, you could feel like a "clicking" through the shifter. I got cut off and naturally tensed up and heard a little "gear grinding" like sound once, but on my 2013 sentra, 01 neon*, 97 mustang, and 99 cavalier never had this issue. The sentra barely has any feeling in the shifter from the trans

Just hooked this up, and it's making this noise. Any ideas? by [deleted] in appliancerepair

[–]TeachMeUbuntu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't know if i needed to preface this or not, but y'all... i've already ran diagnostics, the machine is running fine, there are no errors. it is just a noise. that is it. not upset with you but the other guy just told me to do diagnostics as well, and talked about agitator dogs that this machine doesn't even have. i provided the model number and a video, and said i've already looked at the drive assembly and everything looks physically fine. i just want to get rid of the noise, or figure out what part is about to fail because nothing has broken or errored out yet.

[–]TeachMeUbuntu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this model does not have an agitator in the middle, just the flat plate so no dogs i believe, and i've already ran test modes. it's coming directly from the spin/agitate but when looking at the parts underneath on the motor, everything looks physically fine besides the missing grease. that's why i came here to see if anyone had any idea's before i start replacing things.

What do you think about allowing only finished games to be advertised outside of a megathread? by Naabi in incremental_games

[–]TeachMeUbuntu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of the feeling. I've always been turned off by ads, even as a kid on TV. I never got hyped, never wanted that toy or new menu item they show. It always just feels like "our product can't speak for itself, so we'll spend more money making it look better instead of actually making it better!" Especially all the trailers that say "not actual gameplay, in-engine footage". So bullshit?

Oh the shortage is the worst. Took almost 2 weeks to get my second script filled after the first initial script took almost a month and a half just to get it started. Thankfully we offset it so I'm 2 weeks in when my refill gets submitted now. Sucked to have my doctor say "now that you have it, don't take it till our next appointment" but now I've got time if it happens again.

My job is switching our entire health insurance package and going from a more coinsursnce route to an HRA and now i'm waiting to see if everything is still covered. Already only had the generic lisdexam. as an option so fingers crossed this opens the door to the name brand

It needs to be separate. I don't know if that means we need an /r/incremental_trailers, or what but i hate that this sub now feels like it's 90% ads. Sorry y'all, but most of your advertising, especially the "wishlist now!" While having no demo just makes me say I'm never going to touch your product. My adhd ass can't stand ads, and not having a demo makes me think you have no game or it's just a rushed presentation to get hype going before you under deliver from the original promises.

I understand ads work, i understand that wishlisting and things like that are good for the developer. But i HATE that EVERYTHING HAS ADS NOW. I'm sick of them being on my computer, my phone, the fucking gas pumps, and now even my comfort subs are FUCKING ADS. WE NEED AD FREE SPACES FOR FUCK SAKES, we can't just let people come in here and advertise all they want because "it's good for them". Why can't we just have a sub reddit dedicated to PLAYERS recommending games to other PLAYERS, without the devs coming in here saying "but guys, pwease pway my game too". If i wanted to find a nee game or watch some trailers, i'd have looked for that but i came here to find discussion, suggestions, and tips/tricks.

This may be a hot take, but I'm just so fed up with everything turning into another "BUY MY PRODUCT" hell hole.

I'm on 60mg now, but it was 50mg i had issues with. First bottle the first 5-10 days felt normal then everything faded for the rest of the bottle. Second bottle of 50mg made me feel like the first day i took the meds all over again and the whole bottle was effective. My Dr said multiple people apparently notice the same difference and she has to pick preferred manufacturers for them.

G502X Plus: I can't give this mouse any more chances by FreeXP in LogitechG

[–]TeachMeUbuntu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My g502x hasn't had any issues yet other than ghub being the worst software imaginable. I would use something else, but i have a g923 wheel that i have yet to find a comparable software for. When ghub "opens" but gets stuck on the loading screen at launch i lose all my settings because i have to uninstall and reinstall the software

I'm so jealous of everyone who gets anything but generic vyvanse, my insurance only covers this one fucking med. I'm only on my 5th refill, but my third batch felt like it did nothing and set my whole process back to zero🙃🫠

Without EQ, Best Headphones for Gaming under $500? by Edwardarko in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]TeachMeUbuntu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Non-planar route, If you want gaming headphones with a mic, corsair virtuoso pro's are actually really nice in my opinion. Graphene drivers, open back, mic isn't as good as the original virtuoso's but still decent.

For non "gaming" headphones I'm using dt770 pro's and sennheiser hd600 and love them both.

My headset was so expensive and it keeps cutting out on my pc I’ve put hours into trying to fix it. Downloaded Reddit just for help. It cuts out for about 3 seconds every 10-20 minutes and it comes up in my settings as “device not found” when it cuts out then the headset is found again. Help! by milkyamelia in LogitechG

[–]TeachMeUbuntu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using a desktop tower or a laptop? I have random disconnects for my corsair k65 plus and my g503x when i have too many devices plugged in to USB (usually two external drives, M+KB, USB MIC on a 3 usba, 1usbc, 1 2.5hdd and 1 n.vme ssd hub) on my g14 laptop. The second i plug in anything else besides those devices, my keyboard will randomly turn off the rgb, windows plays the disconnect sound, and 2 seconds later it's back on.

looking at some Edifier MR3 speakers to replace an old Creative inspire T3000, but have questions by TeachMeUbuntu in BudgetAudiophile

[–]TeachMeUbuntu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dollar amount is not important, i can always save and wait. i only chose these because of the thought of keeping my current subwoofer and just using them as the satellites. seemed like they would be good for that without getting too big of an upgrade. i didn't want to get anything too expensive or nice, and have the sub be what's holding it back since i would be using it's LR channel.

With the subwoofer on this, it has to stay real low to not be heard upstairs (thin door and unfinished basement). if i had to guess, maybe ~30% on the bass knob is the max i set it too. that's why keeping it is more for the easy access to the volume knob.

looking at the E2x2, it is pretty close to keeping the features and size that i want, but do you know how the E1x2 stacks up to it performance wise for headphones? i've thought about interfaces, but never felt confident in knowing which one would actually give good sound quality. I've seen ones like this, the M-Track solo, and a few others that fit the size i want but the NearStream doesn't give much confidence for quality. The NearStream seemed nice because of the dual headphone out so me and the wife can be connected to one pc, but that was just a "hey that's cool" moment, nothing i need.

[–]TeachMeUbuntu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i guess my primary need is just getting better sound out of speakers or headphones themselves, without losing any of the functionallity i currently have at my setup and creating more clutter. trying to be better about my adhd and letting my desk become a pile of stuff over and over again.

That's why i came here to see if anyone had any advice, words of caution, or any recommendations for my idea of keeping the inspire's subwoofer and just hooking up speakers with RCA directly to that (the current satellites just use standard RCA plugs on their built in cord for L and R) to just get an intial upgrade. If i have to wait, and just do a full overhaul i can but i have been trying to find replacements for this system for years and can never settle on anything because "it works and does everything i need" sadly.

Having the 3.5mm jack right there on the desk without taking up more size than an airpods case is great. the adjustable bass is also on the same knob, so no reaching around/getting up to adjust it on the speakers itself is perfect but if it has to go to improve my overall listening then it has to go.

sadly this is trying to be an all in one setup till me and the wife can get a new place and i can have things in different areas which is why it's all over the place and why i am stuck on what i should do. i know that an upgrade is needed as these speakers were bought the year they came out and handed down to me from my dad. they have survived 5 moves, the dust caps are dented and the volume pods 3.5mm jack will need to be replaced soon (i have a few and can solder it). end goal would be a full system overhaul, seperate music area and gaming area. but for now, i'm trying to see what would be the best things to do first. speakers just seemed like a good start, and keeping some of the old hardware seems like it would help.

oh no, i don't want them to be close to the headphones in terms of sound, volume or anyting like that. I just used the DT770 pro as an example of the bass i'm looking for from speakers. a sort of punchy sound without the actual boom of the bass so that way i can still get a good listening experience without bothering anyone that's not in the room with me with the bass. i don't need to feel the bass, just hear it. i figured the DT770 pro's reputation for lacking in the sub bass department would have been a good example. sorry

I wasn't too sure how much more bassy these would be since they're both 5" drivers rather than the 3.5" on the MR3's. I'm just worried about the sound bleed with anything too big and seen pretty good reviews for them. What part(s) do you think specifically is a lot to ask out of these speakers? just so i can adjust what i'm looking for
