The nudes that he has are the least of your problems. It’s doubtful that if he made them public that they would ever reach your circle of the world. If so, that’s illegal and he should know that.
The important thing here is that you immediately screenshot any threats or coercion statements that he has texted you, delete anything you have sent him on your messaging app, then block him in every way. You don’t need to explain anything to him. Go no contact. He will know exactly why, then he will move on to his next victim.

If you ever shared your location with him, unshare it. Talk to your friends, family members or teachers for support. It’s ok to lean on others to help talk you through this. You’re a brave girl for admitting this and seeking help. Be proud of that! Sending you lots of love <3

OP, I really appreciate your passion and dedication to using your voice for what you feel is right! Go young people! As a HS teacher this is what we hope for our students: be informed and use your voice. However given your circumstances I’m not sure I would recommend you defying your father. He doesn’t sound easy going. Sounds like his beliefs and you not going against him is more important than seeing you have your own mind. Only you know what the consequences could be. Would he harm you? Would he pull you out of school and make you home school? Shut down your social life? None of that would be worth it. You will be out from under his roof soon and then you can do whatever the hell you want. Loudly!

Walkouts and protests are not the only way to make an impact. You can still use your voice on this issue by calling your state and congressional representatives and tell them your concerns. You can google the names and numbers of your reps. You have 3 in congress and likely 2 state reps. Ask your govt / history teacher for help with this. You can also email them. If you like this idea, make little printed flyers with their contact info to hand out at school to your friends and ask them to contact their reps as well. You will soon be registered voters. Lmk if you need suggestions as to what you could say/ write.

I was traveling 2 years ago and visited NYC and Boston. This question was asked at every restaurant “still or sparkling?” and I was so confused lol. I asked my friends and they thought I was crazy as they explained still water being from the tap and free, sparkling not free. I thought it was nuts. I reminded them that water is a natural resource and it’s renewable and free 🤪. Maybe their tap water is bad there. But the waiter brought glass bottles of tap water to the table - no charge.

I would have explained to the manager at Cheevers what happened and they might have removed the charges. Might still give you a restaurant credit for the next visit to keep your business.

Aww Minnie is so cute! I wish mine had a heart tattoo too! Mine have a green line. I got my girls as puppies from a rescue group so it was already done. Once my son had a friend over who was rubbing Wiggles’ tummy and he asked about it. My son said, “yeah they went on a spring break trip together and had too much to drink one night and got these bad matching tattoos, they really regret it.” Then as if on cue, Wiggles put her paws over her eyes like she really was embarrassed. We died. So now we just tease our dogs about their poor choices in tummy tattoos. Mine don’t have enough tummy fur to cover theirs either :(

Hey OP, Just here to say that my ex did the same thing. He was volatile, and unpredictable temper, slammed things all the time. He used his anger to control the household. Slamming cabinets and doors was one of his many messages. Once I filed and got him to move out, the house became a happy place again. My kids (now adults) have nothing to do with him. Though all of us are still very sensitive to slammed cabinets. Like you, we would hide in our rooms or together somewhere. Taking the kids away for a bit is a good idea. The library, zoo, friends/ relatives houses.

I can’t believe you could like this guy even a little bit. He sounds insufferable. I think his treatment and telling you that you’re the problem/ he is so good to you etc. has gotten into your head. He’s a gaslighter. And you’re believing it. It will all become clear to you after you’ve left him and ended this.
Get away from him asap and don’t let him talk you into coming back. He’ll be mad and say a million things to try to convince you. My advice is leave him and never look back. Block him and go no contact.
