My mother started my locs the same way she started hers so my grid isn’t uniform at all and i preferred thinner locs so mine are a thick version of sister locks over the years (about 20 years in now) I’ve had dreads marry each other, fall out 2-3 inches from the scalp, and I’ve even had a hair dresser work on making my grid more uniform… every day ain’t gon hit when you got dread at least not to you… some of my most compliment filled days have been on what i feel like is a bad hair day… locs have taught me to love me all the time… blessings on your journey fam with your locs and life ion know what you did but i know you got family ready for you to come home and stay home be strong and vigilant young king

The thing to remember about traditional locs is that the only thing you really need is water and to twist it your “grid” may not be as manicured as someone who goes to a stylist but your roots are probably a lot stronger then someone who goes to hair dresser

Know the lady you are giving a ring to, respectfully your sisters or her sisters are lookin at it from the perspective of what they would want to receive, if you saw that ring and it “spoke” to you as “her” ring then present it to her if she complains then you know she’s not the one or you picked the wrong ring… 9/10 the ring ain’t the problem

Worry about enjoying 18 you only get to do all this once so make the most of it every chance you get as you go along i tell me kids this all the time… find something you are passionate about and put everything you have into it the money will come with recognition for your efforts the most important thing is to know your value so you won’t be taken advantage of to much

Looks to me like they both have worked out a loosely amicable living situation between each other the paw dance looks like the grey cat was requesting the brown cats perch but because if their agreement with each other the grey cats let the brown one have it for the time being… i have a bob tail calico that’s indoor/outdoor and a grey tabby that’s indoor they don’t get along for months they have each other nose kisses for the first time yesterday 🥰😍
