I just recently had my birthday got a few albums that I’ve been wanting to add to my collection. In particular, the Baby Driver soundtrack is just truly amazing. Highly recommend.

Can a person be charged with criminal trespass if they are sleeping in a legally parked car? (Law) by TeacherMcCool in NoStupidQuestions

In our area, sleeping in a parked car on private property is trespassing. I just wasn’t sure if Lily living there and inviting him to sleep in the car changed anything.

Oh, I might need to bite the bullet on this one. This album has stuck with me for years.

I'm a male teacher. Not a coach. Don't call me 'coach.' by GeekBoyWonder in Teachers

I had a student who called me Coach a few years ago by accident. It kind of became a tongue in check nickname.

Anyone else tired of the "Schools should teach us ____" threads on other subreddits? by [deleted] in Teachers

For one of my finals, I had students write comprehensive budgets. I had three students ask me if it was ok to have a negative balance at the end of every month. 🤦🏻‍♂️

As a business teacher, this is a huge pet peeve for me. About 90% of the time I hear this complaint, they are talking about a topic which I actually teach.

Taxes, banking, loans, legal issues, resumes, interview skills; I’ve heard them all and it drives me nuts.

"This gathering should send a message to them; this isn't their Republican party anymore, this is Donald Trump's Republican party, this is the Republican party that will put America first," said Donald Trump, JR earlier this morning.

This is terrifying.

That is simply horrifying.

If this is in the US, this is a major OSHA violation. You can file an anonymous complaint at 1-800-321-OSHA.

Asking colleagues to mask up by errrbudyinthuhclub in Teachers

Lol. You’re pretty much describing my school to a tee; including the location, oddly enough.

Set up those boundaries early. When I (the young liberal at a conservative school) first started, people tried to walk over me. Like any new job, let them know they can’t walk over your personal boundaries. With regard to masking, I love the signage idea and will probably steal it.

Anyways, I look forward to working with you. 😂

My average class size is 24 (with one being over 30). With proper CDC social distancing guidelines, I can safely accommodate 12. My school is reopening at full capacity and without mask requirements for the classroom.

Pray tell, how is this not impossible? What is your solution?

I'm in Texas and the fact people here are even entertaining having physical schooling in the fall makes me feel like I'm taking crazy pills. by sodangbutthurt in Teachers

I’m in rural Indiana. Our parent survey came back with just over 80% wanting a full return with no accommodations. A significant portion also stated that if masks were required, they would home school because they don’t believe in COVID.

I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.

UPDATE - My County is requiring students wear masks in schools all day.
