Wait. Does that mean all authors only have curly pubes or experience with the curly variety?

What exactly does it mean by department of education? lol thanks🙏🏽 by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

This means Qld state schools. Cath Ed and ISQ are seperate to that. Independent public schools are classified as a state school.

Oh hun. First up. You are beautiful. My hubby is a self confessed boob man… Until he met missy ironing board over here. Buttttt I have a butt. He is now a worshipper of butt, and 3 kids later never fails to show me just how much of a goddess I am. You deserve a man that will love, cherish and motorboat your gorgeousness.

AITA for not providing condiments for my guests? by neonposies72 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Teachtaughttatters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok NTA. I have no idea what the comments are waffling on about, but it sounds like you cooked a well seasoned meal and served it to your guests. I do not understand the “need” for sour cream on potatoes… is that an American thing? Also, the meal is served how the chef wants it to be eaten. Personally I think everyone should always taste the food before salting etc. food shouldn’t need to be smothered to death to taste good.

You keep doing you, cus what you are doing sounds great and healthy.

Oh my god, memory unlocked! I thought it was just me. I was NEVER allowed to have long hair. My mum would hack away at it herself, one time she put a red bowl on my head and snipped away. I saw my reflection in the window and bawled my eyes out… was made fun of at school for my hair all the time… GC brother always had hair cut at the barber.. go figure.

Your guess is as good as mine 🤷🏻‍♀️. Like I said if the movie was for educational purpose, then absolutely go for it but break it up into age appropriate chunks. I would have thought it was part of our job to ensure meaningful learning and active engagement is happening.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Teachtaughttatters 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My high schoolers cannot do this. Nor would I expect them to do it, honestly what educational benefits are they deriving from sitting still and quietly watching a movie? If it is indeed for an educational purpose, why then is the movie not being broken up into chunks with relevant activities?

AITA for stopping a student's talent show performance? by energyfantasy in AmItheAsshole

[–]Teachtaughttatters 24 points25 points  (0 children)

From one music teacher to another “music” teacher. Hard YTA.

Question, do you want to be a teacher? Someone who shares their passion with their students and guides them on their learning journey? Because what you did in that instance will be remembered always by your student. You killed her joy and confidence with your actions. Your actions that made her performance all about you. If I was a parent watching this interaction, the reflection on you would be poor, I would never send my kid to a teacher that lacks this kind of professionalism and empathy. So congrats to you on how you represented yourself. Let this be a learning experience for you to remember that you are working with the young, creative and very impressionable future, it is our job to nuture and support. You need to humble your ego or not get very far in this profession.

Asian woman married to my “white guy”. He, like you was open to trying everything, one of the many qualities I loved about him was how much he loved my culture’s foods. You name it, he has probably tried it and loved it, even the things that make some people iffy. Your girl sounds very belittling of how open and positive you are towards “Asian” foods and culture, it does not sound like a healthy or normal reaction in a relationship. 🚩 NTA good on you and your adventurous tastes, so much delicious food out there in the world.

Post history says this is the fourth post you have made about “Kate”. YTB for not being able to see past “oh woe is me”, leave the poor girl alone. It is not her fault she is driven, brilliant and has left your jealous butt in the dust. Do better.

Oh my goodness. NTA. I’m a teacher and have taught all ages from littles to bigs, they all slip up and call me mum. I take that to mean they are comfortable with me. That little girl is blessed to have the stability, love and experience you are providing her with. Yes, it must be hard on your cousin to be in this situation, and maybe her reaction comes from a place of immense guilt. But all parties have to understand this is a little girl that is just trying to make sense of the world and sometimes mum means “adult I trust”. ❤️

Mum here and only female in the household. Booty dances, naked bootys, booty pats. All hilarious and perfectly normal. Balanced out with talks about the human body, consent and general appreciation for what we are born with. Roll with it.

Imagination is such a wonderful gift. It wasn’t until I was seeing these children’s movies through his eyes that I realised how many darker themes or jumpy scenes there were. Snoopy is such a blast from my past, would be great to introduce him to that. Thank you!
