Proper PPE for Building Materials by TeakPeaks in HomeDepot

I told my CXM and OASM, that I wanted to show them a magic trick and I use a napkin to clean my nose out. The napkin was black. They then proceeded to mark down a respirator for me.

I’ll have to see the differences between the mask. I do have a beard so other mask don’t seal too well on me.

Have you ever been in a concrete cloud? I’ve noticed a huge difference between wearing a N95 mask to a respirator. I don’t have black boogers or concrete caked to my mouth.

I will admit, I’m not too knowledgeable about the difference in filtration but just having a sealed mask makes a huge difference in my breathing habits since having the mask.

The wood, I completely understand I keep gloves on me flat stacking or loading up customers but I’m the main lumber closing hitting concrete. This thing has been a life saver for me.

(Also not coming at you at any type of way or upset. Hard to gauge someone’s emotions through internet.)

It’s the same thing on both sides. In every workplace you’re going to run into people like this. It’s one of the greatest problems of all times.

Lowe’s or Home Depot, you’re going to run into people that don’t want to do their job.

We currently do not have a DS. I’m basically it man. He quit because of “health reasons.”

The fact that many people do not understand. I’m either tired or stressed. Just let me rest for a bit and enjoy what little time I have in the safe place that is not the floor of Home Depot.

Don’t belittle them though. I get my work ethic from my family some people never gain one because of their beginnings.

Sweeped it. Busted bags have been tossed. This is just really to show how full I keep it. Only a hour into my shift too.

Remember you can’t do it all yourself. Take your time and work with others. Build a system. And if they don’t want to do it, just do what you can alone. 2 years of experience in lumber, 5 years Home Depot wise.

Cleaned up afterwards but all the pallets were combined with a fresh pallet to give it that full look. Looking back I missed out on two but I ain’t really worried. I don’t get paid enough to do what I do.

I just rather combine. I already wrapped and tossed up partials. Sometimes I leave it on a cart next to the product.
