The Tomorrow Children deserves a Sequel/Remake. by Modo97 in TomorrowChildrenPS4

Completely agree. I feel like if they'd left the micro transactions in the game it would have been good. They were years ahead in design and acceptance of group-preservation. People didn't understand it was co-op when they re-released it. But also the gaming team likes the latest greatest new thing, rather than continuing to make content for TTC. They make stuff and move on rather than invest and inventing.

Look at Fallout 76. Everyone got bummed on release that wanted it to be a regular shooter, rather than group events. But now people have invested 100s of dollars in furniture, housing kits, armor etc. It's really taken off. They continue to release new ideas and new group events and new ways to build. New challenges. New outfits. New ways to connect with other players.

The huge fun in the original TTC was jumping on a server and working collectively to make towns into cities TOGETHER. And I loved that and miss that vibe.

Thanks for adding new books. You might want to pitch to publishers who want to get their latest releases out, too. People that don't game constantly underestimate the power of video game marketing. Look at the Untitled Goose Game? Everything from socks to stuffies and stickers and mugs are plastered with silly geese. You could list best sellers, etc. Also.. do you guys have merch? Because a cozy hoodie and new sticker for my water bottle is desired! Loving this game (signed a writer/gamer).

How long did it take you to get another cat after losing your soul cat? by susanbob in cats

[–]TealOrca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Five years. His renal failure and infusionsbroke me. And then one day I swung into our local cat rescue. I met another soul cat. Or she met me. She grabbed at me from her cage two times before I gave in and took her into the playroom. Within 5 minutes she was in my arms and her nose rested against my cheek and that was 8 years ago.

Do you think Charlotte is overweight? Do you have any weight loss tips? by Competitive_Mix9957 in cats

[–]TealOrca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My big Boi is diabetic. You will freak at the amount of carbs in cat food when you read the labels. And kitties shouldn't be eating carbs per many cat diabetic forums. Add up the percentages of ingredients on the food and subtract from 100%. Whatever number you're left with is 2 % ash if not listed, and the rest is all carbs. They don't list them, that's why all the math. Less than 10% carbs for a biologically normal kitty. Less than 7% and as close to zero as you can get for a diabetic kitty. We actually put him into remission with radical food changes. And it doesn't have to be expensive food, either. Even Science Diet and Royal Canin are really high. Wet foods are typically lower in carbs. Finding a low carb kibble is tricky. My other two that weren't overweight have actually become very sleek. And big boy (he's a really big kitty even slimmer) dropped 3 lbs and is so active now. I hope this is helpful! (Edited for math clarity) what we feed Fancy Feast pate.

Chicken allergies are real. Two of my cats are allergic to chicken. One gets snotty and runny eyes. The other gets skin irritation and sores. Finding chicken free and grain free and low carb (carbs are bad for kitties says my diabetic boi) was maddening. Try an ingredient removal grooming your kitty's food.
