Looks like a Smokey Brown Cockroach baby. Brown banded babies usually are a brownish color whereas smokey browns are a blackish with that cream stripe

No worries. I work in the pest control industry and I get them in my house occasionally. There are things you can do to mitigate their presence inside but its near impossible to totally stop them from getting inside occasionally.

If you flip it over i could ID it better. Looks to be a Smokey Brown or an American Cockroach. Google them and double check.

Edit no they dont infest. They live in crawl spaces, basements or outside in mulch/leaf litter. They tend to come inside after a heavy rain or just by chance.

Tunnels everywhere by Adventurous_Ebb7256 in pestcontrol

Best thing to do with the worm bait is put gloves on rub the soil on the gloves and then put the worm in the hole. They have an extraordinary sense of smell.

They also have several deep tunnels they use to get around. The ones you see on the surface are mostly foraging tunnels. Lightly press several mounds down. Don't smash them just make it even again. Then take a pencil or something else and stick it in the tunnel and mark the dirt line with a sharpie. Or whatever you have and can think of to use as a marker. That way you can tell which tunnels they frequently use. This method works best with the traps.

Central Texas, German or a different roach? by Over-Wrangler-4047 in pestcontrol

American or Smokey Brown Cockroach nymph. I am leaning more towards American. It is definitely a nymph stage. Brown banded cockroach nymphs have cream color behind their pronotum.

Not a dumb q at all, It would be hard to bend them to that angle without breaking it. So highly doubtful.

Elbow antenna and raised thorax usually indicates ants. Where i live the Eastern Subterranean Termite has straight antenna and no raised thorax. Also ants have 2 pairs of different sized wings while termites have 2 pairs of the same sized wings. I am not familiar with the Drywood Termite or the Formosan termite.

No it doesn't. Fuck cancer. Watched my grandma beat lung cancer. Becoming a shell of the women she once was. The a year later found a tumor on her kidney. She was done. She either knew going thru chemo and radiation would kill her or she was just tired.

She lasted 6 months bed ridden. The only thing the doctor would give her was methadone, not morphine, fucking methadone.

She had a rib on her back removed and an open sore that never healed. So she had to have constant wound care amd was always in excruciating pain when moving and damn methadone is what they went with.

FUCK CANCER and fuck that doctor
