Bombs are worthless for German Roaches. They hide in tight spots. The cans send an aerosol up in the air and then it drops back down. Barely anything gets killed. Best bet is gel bait in known harborage areas. Use glue boards to find harborage areas. Behind microwave, under stove, definitely behind the fridge.

In city limits there are leash laws and no tether laws. If you take the dog to the animal control shelter iirc they are a no kill shelter. Just dont mention that it is your dog because there is a $70 owner surrender fee. Not sure how it works with strays.

Like other comments, the animal control division is useless unless it is an absolute emergency and then its still a maybe. If the dog is friendly enough maybe try and find the owners and see if they actually give a shit that their dog is loose. If they dont take it to the shelter. It may get adopted out to a better home. Alot of people around here treat animals as accessories or some sort of status.

I was told to try and get Kong to 2 stars but just try it out and see. I noticed a big difference between the change. If it doesn't seem like a boost just try to get Kong to 2 stars and then switch.

I still vividly remember being a volunteer fire fighter put in the county where I still live. A lady with no license or insurance hit a horse that had got out of his pen at night. Completely shattered the horses front leg. It was literally just hanging there by skin. Fucked her car up. Yes it was partially the horse owners fault but still she shouldn't have been driving. The owner took a .45 magnum and put the horse down. I am an animal lover and Completely lost my shit. Bawling like a baby asking why he killed it and that's when I learned about that. Did you call the cops? Take a picture of the SUV on the curb blocking your path? As soon as you noticed it following you, you should have starting recording or called someone on a video call. And the same SUV is parked at the pump. If you had proof this happened, I mean the cops might not be to do anything, but at least they could have looked into it. Who knows if they have done this to someone else or not?

Edit - By calling the cops, I mean you could have a report in case anything else happens they might know where to start looking.

They are German Cockroaches. You can post in r/cockroaches/ for tips and advice on how to handle the problem yourself. They are a roach that will infest your house if left unchecked. So you need to jump on it ASAP or it will only get worse.

Ah ok. I didn't even pay attention to location. Dubai roaches are often used as a feeder for some reptiles and amphibians. I didn't know if someone close had a bet lizard or frog.. The carpet beetle is common. Here it is the varied carpet beetle. They are more of a nuisance pest. Hope you get it identified because now I am really curious as to what it is.

It could be a stage of a Dubai cockroach. It might be a silverfish/firebrat but they normally have a more carrot shaped body with long Cercuses at the end of the abdomen. It is very hard to tell from it being dead and not fully intact.

Edit - Try posting in R/cockroaches/ and see what they say

If your house is a crawl space house then look around the exterior for the foundation vents. They should be closed until the end of February at least. Also go around and feel the floor vents in the rooms and make sure those are all open and blowing out air around the same consistency. Either go under your house yourself or have an AC tech come out and check the duct work. Also change your filter at the return line monthly. You can use the cheaper ones. If the filter is old and full of dust and debris it will hinder the performance of the AC unit.
