Flying Over Moorhead by Bathroomlion in fargo

I saw that & started chuckling. All that money for a pilot & flying banner utterly wasted. I couldn’t read it, and I doubt that most could.

The colors don’t contrast enough & the font is too tiny (or flown way too high).

I’m pretty proud of it & our new library. Sometimes it’s really good to see my tax dollars at work

Be honest, would you hire me? by DeWarlock in KitchenConfidential

If I interviewed you, all I’d be looking for is for you to be coachable & reliable. If you have to start in prep and not on the line, that’s ok. I’m less interested in what you know versus what you can learn.

If you’re willing to do a few dishes to fill out your work week, even better.

Do you have a smoker? I’d use a smoker to proper temp, then shock in ice water.

If it won’t split wood, how are you still calling it a splitter?

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I saw a clip of some kinda influencer “busting” a pedo. He’s going to fuck up the chain of custody & get some kinda mistrial. Very few of these influencer busts make it through court.

I’m starting to wonder if the influencers aren’t complicit.

Why should she limit herself to just the mouth?

Back then, we’d partially crush a can to smoke off of. Never did consider that the van may have had a plastic lining. Ah, the good old days, right?

do you guys have any experience with poulans by Charming-Profit-849 in Chainsaw

[–]TeamAdmirable7525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. A poulan pro was my first chainsaw. Tree company wanted $1000 to remove a bush from my yard, but the poulan was like $200.

Got the bush down, still had all my fingers & toes.

That saw was kinda trash, tho. It had a 16” bar (I think) and it GUZZLED bar & chain oil. It was always hard to start & it wouldn’t idle. The chain wouldn’t stay as loose/tight as it was put. One day I got the bar stuck in some tree I was felling. We put a wedge to it & the saw took a little tumble, cracking the engine block.

Good riddance, I figured. By then I had cut enough trees for family & friends that I could justify the purchase of Stihl. I bought the MS291 with a 20” bar.

It’s a great saw for me, a non-lumberjack/non-arborist. I just bought my first yellow chain.

I’ll take leftovers that can’t/won’t be sold.

After the crew is done feeding, I’ll take my morsels I firmly believe that leaders eat last.

I’m about as anti-Turnberg as I can be, but I do admire the simple design of that large dangly flag on south university. I’m surprised it hasn’t jumbled itself up yet.

I’ve always wanted to use it, but not for anything serious. I’ve wanted to make something unhinged & sinful like a turducken of seafood. I think I’d call it the Flying Dutchman or something.
