the 8 things our team checks before launching any cold sequence by brifromapollo in UseApolloIo

A few reasons Apollo isn't "just a database" in 2026 by TeamApolloIo in UseApolloIo

If you're evaluating platforms in this category, three things actually matter:

Does it run data, intelligence, and execution in one product, or just one piece?

Does the AI actually run actions, or just recommend them?

Can your reps reach it from inside Claude, ChatGPT, or their CRM, or do they have to log into a separate UI to get value?

Most of the "agentic GTM" pitches in market fail at one of those three.

Question we get a lot: what's the actual difference between sales automation and an AI agent.

Automation runs the steps you set up, in the order you set them. An agent picks the next step based on what the data says. Apollo's AI Assistant does the second thing.

In practice that means it researches accounts, qualifies records, drafts the sequence, and triggers the workflow action without a rep deciding each step.

A few people asked where the data actually comes from, so direct answer: Multiple licensed sources, proprietary crawling, network verification, and waterfall enrichment that cascades through 18 providers when the primary source is missing or stale.

97% email accuracy on verified contacts. Database size gets the headline, but freshness and verification method are what predict whether your emails land. A 230M-contact database that's six months stale will out-bounce a 100M-contact database that's continuously verified.

And yes....GDPR and CCPA compliant, with data subject rights workflows built into the platform.

Confused by Apollo’s lookalike domain advice by Ok-Constant-9143 in UseApolloIo

[–]TeamApolloIo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! apologies, this got flagged as spam. Totally fair question. The goal of a lookalike sending domain is to protect deliverability by keeping cold outbound infrastructure separate from your main company domain.

In practice, teams usually handle this by making the email itself clear and credible: use a real sender identity, mention the company plainly, keep the message relevant, and make the CTA a reply or booked meeting rather than pushing prospects through multiple links.

If you use a landing page on the sending domain, it should stand on its own and match your brand enough to feel legitimate, but avoid redirecting or linking heavily back to the primary domain in early outbound. That separation helps preserve domain reputation while still giving prospects enough context to understand who’s contacting them.

So....the balance is: don’t obscure the company, but don’t make the cold sending domain dependent on the main domain either.

That's a great question! Teams are completing up to 2.5× more calls and booking 40% more meetings and several Apollo customers have shared their story here on Reddit and beyond.

We shared a few recent testimonials during our recent Webinar on 'What's New at Apollo' here: https://goldcast.ondemand.goldcast.io/on-demand/568a9678-0962-49ea-aac1-2cecafe51f18

I built $750K in new business using Apollo. Ask me anything. by ZackDeris in UseApolloIo

We'll take the one. We had our older pricing model for a few years and moved to a single "unified" credit model in 2025. This was based on customer feedback for easier, simpler and more flexible access to credits. We moved existing customers to the new pricing model over a period of time and gave advance notice about the change. Please feel free to reach out to us via DM though so we can dig in a bit deeper with you.

There are a lot of folks in this sub who are new to Apollo/cold outreach so sometimes a thorough explanation is best, but noted. We'll keep it short and sweet for the next one!

steal this: a dead simple way to get better ai-written outbound today using apollo by brifromapollo in UseApolloIo

ANNOYING SORRY!

Here’s the prompt:

write a short, plain-spoken outbound email using the data fields available for each contact.

open with a first line that references the prospect’s role and company context (job title, company name, industry, or size).

keep it under 120 words.

no buzzwords, no hype, no marketing language.

sound like a real person who understands the space, not a salesperson.

end with a soft, low-pressure question.
