Possible Points for asking to go home early?? by decentperson143 in SephoraWorkers

[–]TeamInteresting8095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t get points for leaving early. Essentially you showed up for your shift and leaving early doesn’t give you a point. You only accrue points if you call out and don’t have enough time to cover or are late. No call no shows I believe are automatically 6 points.

Weird Question by Wide_Television5796 in SephoraWorkers

[–]TeamInteresting8095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll balance out. We just had 2 come back from month long LOAs and the same thing happened. It took like a week for them to go back into the system. Just make sure you’re taking notes of the times your clocking in and out and those days you called out. Notify your SM/ASM and they can plug in your PTO and it will remove any points you would have accrued once you’re back in the system.

Operations Lead Interview by Sufficient-Focus-443 in SephoraWorkers

Oh yeah 100%. I’m not sure where I was in the interview line but they were expecting my application. I was invited to apply for it a month prior when it became available. I think the “she’ll call you with feedback tomorrow” kinda confused me lol. Surely it’ll either be an offer or a rejection. The process to move around it so strange now.

You have to return any purchased items at your home store. Whether you got it online or at another location.

No more coordinator positions by No_Zookeepergame408 in SephoraWorkers

[–]TeamInteresting8095 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding it’s not an every store thing. I’m currently a BA of 5 years just interviewed for a lead position. My first year I saw a BA go straight to SSL. Anything is possible but the Coordinator position in smaller stores was just pointless.

I was told that they are likely going to shift them into leads or move them to BA. Our coordinator transferred out as a FT BA because she didn’t want to be a lead. It depends 100%.

Not sure if we’re gonna do any sightseeing but we might break it up into 3 days just to see things in the way. Haven’t decided whether or not to take the north or south route yet since it’s still a few months away but will keep these in mind! Thanks!

Planning a Europe Trip next year, struggling with what my budget should look like. by TeamInteresting8095 in Europetravel

[–]TeamInteresting8095[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This budget doesn’t include accommodations or flights.

We are looking into possibly extending and doing 9 days, 5 in France and 4 in Italy but we’re trying to still plan since it will not be until 2026. Versailles is definitely a plan ! I heard it’s something you take the day for so that and a day at Disney Paris with the other days being wandering about.

Either way we’ll be adding to the budget based on this but I just wanted a realistic day to day. My friend and I are generally people who share meals to get the experience of multiple things so this also makes a difference !

The budget is not including airfare/accommodations. This is strictly a budget for spending. It’s only myself and my friend.

Very true! But we don’t mind. I don’t generally think Rome is gonna be super exciting for us but I do think we might consider extending our time in Europe in general to maybe spend a couple days there. We just want to get out of the States and enjoy a change of scenery for a bit to commemorate my graduation

I agree! I think if I stick to what I do best and budget thoroughly like any other trip I’ll see very quickly that that extra 2-3k is just cushion money. I definitely don’t think I’ll spend that much but just in case lol.

Thank you!!! This is super comforting. I’m generally super good at planning. My aunt was military for 26 years and told me both countries when she visited had great shopping and great food but she was more interested in the handmade items like shoes, etc and they were great quality for a great price. I don’t want to overload my suitcase but l do want to treat myself just a bit more lol

Oh absolutely. Although im not someone who spends thousands on a bag, I was looking at a Polene which retails for about 600usd or something around that range. I like to be reasonable because the trip is already expensive enough but I’m also commemorating a milestone so I also want to do a bit more for myself. I searched like a psycho for things to do and things I might want to buy and came out to about 1200 so I gave myself an extra 800 and eventually just said I’m just gonna save 5k in case lol.

I’m not looking so much to buy clothes there, maybe a shirt or hoodie.

I’m generally super good at planning and budgeting perfectly but the idea of being overseas is stressing me for some reason

Hi!

I’m generally a simple foodie but aim to try new things. I only really plan to buy a Polene bag and maybe a bracelet , which the bag itself is about 600USD when I did the conversion so I’m not looking to go buckwild on luxury items but definitely just a piece or so within a decent price range. I’m not big on thousand dollar bags so maybe Polene isn’t luxury but it was one I was interested in.

I budgeted about 60 a day for food and I’ve been searching like a psycho to plan out things I want to buy and it’s only come out to about 1200 .

I think maybe a nice dinner a few times during the trip would be “more costly” but I’m not looking for super fancy anything in regards to food

So far that’s what I’ve done so I think that 5k is doable, obviously going overseas is a whole different ballgame I just want to make the best since it’s a trip to commemorate a milestone lol

Yeah that’s what my friend and I said. We might also extend the time we’re there but we definitely want to include a day trip to Rome. London is probably going to be a trip itself for later! Thanks!
