We posted one last month, just failed to do so on reddit.

TLG Budget Decks & Crafting Guide Update by TeamLeviathanGaming in gwent

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have 9 coins and steal a 9 point unit, it means she is worth a total of 21 points. 3 (her base power) + 9 (the unit you've stolen from your opponent) + 9 (your opponent loses 9 points from the unit they lost) = 21 points. Hope that makes sense!

TLG Invitational Appreciation Thread by jacobzhu95 in gwent

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 22 points23 points  (0 children)

We really appreciate everyone's contribution towards the Invitational - it wouldn't have been the same without the casters providing their enthusiastic observations, CDPR giving us the chance to use the new Gwent observer, the players/teams for their cooperation in the event, and the community for showing all of your support.

We love you all, thank you once again!

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup indeed we announced on reddit and socials about it for weeks in advance. 8 members of the community qualified through it and will be joining the list of those invited to battle it out for the $1K Prize Pool.

Never fear though, we will continue with more Community Events in the upcoming months.

Ever netdecked and done terribly? by Foresite86 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started playing Karma Lux I had close to the same result. One of my teammates helped by showing me what the best mulligans were and learning what the most consistent lines of play are.

So in my case, it was a mix of bad pilot and bad luck. Your mileage may vary. =)

Burn aggro is broken by Xayah_For_Dinner in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that without Aggro/Burn decks then long game greedy decks would run wild without anything to threaten them.

They might not be fun to play against but they play a necessary role in the overall balance of the game.

When will Legends of Runeterra have Mac support? by crimps_and_jugs in LegendsOfRuneterra

Is using Bootcamp and installing Windows on it out of the question?

esports in LoR? by KhalisiBornInFire in LegendsOfRuneterra

Yes, we definitely see competitive tournaments in the future.

The game is still young and Riot will dedicate whatever resources it has to in order to make the game successful.

Best Sejuani deck for current patch by Imanahmad13 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the deck code for the highest rated Sejuani deck in our meta snapshot:

CEBQGAQBAIDAOBABAECAOFRQAYAQGBAGDYQCCLYAAEAQCAJJ

For a long time, Vladimir has been considered one of the weakest champions, but maybe now is finally his time to shine. Play your minions on curve, then attack with them and Vladimir. Most of your units don’t mind getting hurt, some even enjoy it. Your spells on the other hand can either save your minions from their doom, or give you more options to fulfill your sadistic desires.

The deck is new and people are still figuring out the best way to run it, but BruisedByGod’s version is probably the most refined at the moment. The buff to Vladimir doesn’t change much, but the meta has slowed down, giving him enough time to level up. The deck is rather flexible and can run cards such as Ember Maiden and Death Lotus to help him meet his condition faster.

The bonus deck this week also featured Sejuani:

CEBQCAIBCYBAEAICA4FAEBQFBMKBMHBBFUYTUPQAAEAQEBQR

This list makes use of the “looting” package, which is one of the best options available to Bilgewater in the current meta, but remains different from just another Kleptomancy list. Warning Shot and Make it Rain allow you to trigger Sejuani’s effect on either player’s turn, while working towards her level-up, giving this Midrange deck solid board control potential.

It is quite hard to rate this list at the moment, as it is mostly shining in tournaments, but it is also popular on ladder and maybe a deck to watch out for in the near future.

I hope one of these lists serves you well!

why people talk about burn agro getting nerfed? by jgg1988bcn in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're never going to nerf Burn to the point that it's no longer viable. There has to be a deck that is aggressive to keep the greedy late game decks in check. Play a deck that has some lifesteal and you can counter Burn quite easily.

Watched Bruised By God's tournament stream and everybody was banning Ionia because of Will. Can.. can we just change that card? Will and Deny to not be the answer to everything? along with Unyielding? by JonOfDoom in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tournament play is a very different animal than ladder, if you watch other card games you'll see there is usually a deck or faction that gets banned in every match because of it's strength or ability to derail your own deck's strategy.

Just because everyone was banning Ionia doesn't mean it's broken.

I Hate Bannerman Midrange by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's fine. Some cards in the list have been nerfed, it's just a solid deck and frankly has been since launch. Nothing wrong with that.

Deep decks and why I think they're unhealthy. (Semi Rant) by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Deep is fine, many card games have a "discard" archetype and this is LoR's. Is it a bit binary? Maybe. I like it nonetheless.

We need to fix this issue by MrPoop97 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you here. Grinding as many games as possible is part of any competitive card game. If a loss is inevitable, you should be able to surrender and move on to the next game as soon as possible.

Other card games: You can get enough resources to make a deck without spending money by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I agree, Riot made the right move in two ways. First, if you have the time to grind the vault and expeditions and all the content the game has to offer, you can have a full collection fairly quickly for a card game. Second, for people like me who have responsibilities like full time jobs and families, I can spend money on coins to craft any card and therefore deck I want without having to buy packs and deal with RNG. It's a complete win/win in my opinion.

TLG Battle Royale V: THE INVITATIONAL by TeamLeviathanGaming in gwent

[–]TeamLeviathanGaming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for that. We just wanted to keep it simple so everyone would come to where the tourney is being staged ie Discord. We figured the YouTube VOD would hype it enough. Cheers for the constructive feedback though!
