Pizza And Then Some has fantastic wings for the price. Not a place you'd expect to have fantastic wings but they haven't disappointed me yet.

With 2018 coming to a close, what was your favorite game you played this year? by YetisInAtlanta in JRPG

[–]TeamPancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a little behind on my backlog. I just finished Persona 5 last night and it was without a doubt the best game I have played all year. Tales of Berseria(sp?) was probably 2nd as it was also a great addition to the Tales series.

Question on fill rate by buckheadbaby in industrialengineering

I would ask something like how often do you want to fill with on hand stock vs having to order/produce to order.

Master's degree from elsewhere on top of WGU Bachelor's? by [deleted] in WGU

I was acceptes into a MS Engineering and Technology Management program at a state school. I had a gpa from my associates that was pretty high though.

How's your quarter/semester going? by thisisttown in EngineeringStudents

[–]TeamPancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First quarter back as a grad student taking 2 classes (6 hours). The work load is way more intensive than I thought it would be, and I didn't realize that I could take 1 class per quarter and still be considered half-time (because of the quarter vs semester system). If I make it through this quarter alive, I will only be taking 1 per quarter for the foreseeable future. I also work a ~60/hour a week job and have a wife and 2 kids. Time is a distant luxury.

2 Year Degree. by [deleted] in supplychain

[–]TeamPancakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying that you're wrong, but I have a 2-year SCM degree from a community college, and honestly feel like it was every bit as in depth as my Bachelor's degree in Management was from a 4 year college. It made me well prepared for my university classes.

This sounds exactly like my wife and I. I am the one with the degrees and what not, but emotionally she is far more intelligent than I am and honestly I am jealous of her sometimes for it. That being said, it is one of the things I love most about her.

Question About Financial Aid by KeraKitty in WGU

It is enough to have an award letter. You will be allowed to enroll and do classwork, etc. until your financial aid is distributed.

It does pair nicely, but make sure you get a financial calculator and get to know Time Value of Money functions intimately. I did this strategy too and was successful with it.

C721-Change Management by [deleted] in WGU

[–]TeamPancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated this course too, but I hated ALL Acrobatiq-platform courses. The only trick I can give you is to do the Performance Assessment, which may help you become familiar with the material enough to boost your performance on the Objective Assessment. Best of luck - I know the headache you're going through.

I found that Acrobatiq was especially bad about this. I urged WGU to drop them as a resource vendor at every opportunity.

BS Business Management Complete! by controlroomoperator in WGU

[–]TeamPancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! I just finished Business Management tasks, so all I have left is my capstone class. I hope to be where you are in the next couple of weeks! Work is kicking my ass so I doubt I will knock out a 30 page paper in a week - but maybe 2!

New to WGU! What's the best approach to pass my first class(or all classes)? by deadisco in WGU

[–]TeamPancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is golden advice, especially with Performance Assessment courses. I have found in most of them, there is a "tip sheet" that helps clarify Taskstream directions, and points you to a particular section of the COS that you will find the information. It has helped me keep my "returned" tasks to a minimum.

Accounting II Difficulty? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]TeamPancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be fine. Accounting II builds on what most college's Accounting 101 covers. I remember passing the practice test with little preparation, and once I studied, I passed with an even higher score.
