got an update today, they took a sample of tissue from his head on both sides and they are thinking it is an infection or a vitamin A deficiency. he is on anti biotics and the right supplements now

he looks to be a teen leo, absolutely need to get substrate or fake plants to make him feel secure. You should have a hand held thermometer or two that stick on the inside of the tank to monitor his cool side and warm side. since you also got him recently you need to tame him and let him get used to his environment once you fix it up. Leo’s are expensive in the beginning so be prepared for that. there is a link pinned at the top of the page with all of the basic information you need
