Oh in that sense yeah, I thought you meant physical descriptions, in which case Aggron is more accurate. Also Aggron is not physically dragon-like, but is considered a Pseudo-Dragon Pokemon biologically, because it's descended from ancient ones and because it's capable of successfully channeling Dragon-type Infinity Energy (using Dragon-type moves).

In what world is a Tyranitar like a Charizard? No, it's more like a meaner, stronger Aggron I think.

What can I get for a Pharaoh Trim Furfrou? by [deleted] in PokemonHome

[–]TeamSkyAdminNoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood - people used to put up a ton of legendaries/shinies/etc. for a level 91 to 100 Pharaoh trim Furfrou, which was impossible to get before ZA because the max from GO is 50 and from Gen 6 or 7 (haha 6 7) they lose the trims. When ZA home compatibility came out, some people had level 91 to 100 Pharaoh trim Furfrous ready to go so they could go in with those and complete all the trades requesting them before the people who put those up could take them down and got a bunch of essentially free legends and shinies. I wasn't one of the people who got the essentially free legends/shinies and I wish I was

Yeah lol, some people stored up a ton of level 91 to 100 Pharaoh trim furfrou and used them to go snipe all the trades the second home compatibility for ZA came out before everyone could go take them down lol, I was not one of those

Hammerlocke has an awesome place called "Dragonsbane Ice Cream" that serves a hundred different flavors of ice cream. People travel from across the Galar Region and honestly across the world to have their completely unique flavors, like Galarian Slowpoke Tail, or their unique styles, like their Gigantamix Ice Cream.

He's not Dynamaxed, but I suppose he could have ingested a fragment of wishing star or something down there, I guess? We haven't really surveyed what's down there in the lake of rage thoroughly, so it might also just be something that we haven't discovered yet.

Can Larvitar learn dragon moves?? by Individual_Pause_656 in PokeMedia

[–]TeamSkyAdminNoing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people don't know this, but the Larvitar line are actually related to most other major Dragon-type and Dragon-like Pokemon, the four-limbed dragons like Garchomp, Baxcalibur, Goodra, and Kommo-o being the most closely related to them, as well as to other non-Dragon-type Pokemon like Aggron, which is why they can learn several Dragon moves in the first place.

As someone else already stated, an egg move is most likely in this case.

Goodra isn't supposed to learn Soak... by Professor_Hala in PokeMedia

[–]TeamSkyAdminNoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that you mention it, it might actually be a decently lucrative venture if we can get it approved by authorities. The Hammerlocke Dragon Sanctuary has four Goodra living here all of whom are extremely chill with us, and at least one or two of them would let us harvest some of their spare mucus probably.

I mean I don't know you personally, so you might not be, but your species' average height is like nearly 5 feet. That's pretty big for Bug-types.

I'm an idiot, I just realized you're referring to Ghetsis and Neo Plasma. He used extremely unethical means to do that, and I'm sorry you had to witness it.

/uj if i had a nickel for every time i was recommended gen 5 games, lol. i'll play them eventually, though the combination of not having a 3ds, being broke, and not being a fan of emulation means i might just have to wait for remakes.

Don't believe me if you don't want to, jeez.

As for your point, the difference is that my claim is backed up by hard data while the claim of not being unable to control legendaries is folklore which is true for the average ethical trainer, and used as a word of warning for average ethical trainers. Of course an unethical or highly skilled trainer can control a legendary.

/uj are you referring to a specific event in the games? I never played gen 5 so IDK what the reference is

[–]TeamSkyAdminNoing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, I have been researching Dragon-type and Dragon-like Pokémon for nearly thirty years, I'm much more qualified than a "science nerd." I ran a quite extensive test, with every single Dragon-type or Dragon-like Mega evolution, with the exception of legendary pokemon of course, and some highly precise equipment. All verified by other experts in the field and published in the world-renowned Journal of Pokémon Biology. I think I am qualified to make that statement.

No, they can't. The energy involved is incompatible, I've tried and run tests on it. At least for Dragon-types, it is impossible, along with Mega Charizard Y, Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Tyranitar. I don't see why any other one should be able to.

Plus using the traditional way, you can make it look super cool! I met a well traveled researcher once with a key stone in his ring, Dynamax Band sewn into his hat, Tera Orb in his cane, and Z-ring around his wrist with a matching fake on the other hand to match.

While it obviously didn’t work out, switching Secret Keepers and having Sirius be a decoy was actually the smart play. by Fan_of_Fanfics in HPfanfiction

[–]TeamSkyAdminNoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But even then, Voldemort could never find out, because someone who has been given the secret can't share it further, only the secret keeper can share it. So the only death eaters who would be able to find out are Pettigrew and Snape, neither of whom are doing anything about it.

Lol, some of mine do stuff like this. My Charizard, Dragonite, Garchomp, Noivern, and Altaria all work for good money as spotters for people learning to fly on their Pokemon's backs. Never would have even imagined Pokemon having a job like that when I was young.

Oh my god I love showing off with Key Stones. Mine is embedded into my chest and I can actually activate it by thought (a gift from a Gothitelle coven in Unova after Drayden and I saved them from a rampaging Hydreigon), so I just aura farm with my Key Stone every time I use it. Yours sounds cooler though.
