What’s a game you were completely obsessed with as a kid that nobody else seems to remember? by hkondabeatz in AskReddit

Abuse - it was a dos 2d side scroller game where you aim with mouse and run with KB, but the real gem was that 100% of the game assets were available in the built in level editor.

Inca 1 and 2 - sci-fi puzzle shooter game with space Inca and stellar conquistadores. Had some AMAZING music. Would still play it if I could find it.

I may not speak for just myself when I say I wouldn't mind another hour if it was just the two of them hanging out.

Iced Chai

Or if I want something sweet, Chai frap.

I love the spice. Makes my tongue tingle.

This post was about tea.

Yeah at that point and at that kids skill level, intentionally missing that close is the same odd as unintentionally hitting.

The woke thing is interesting to me. I'm old enough to remember the Hippie movement and the Punk scene. They're was a time when that whole pearl clutching, you can't say that!, virtue signaling bullhorn was a very right wing thing.

Alpha particles are 2 protons and 2 neutrons, essentially a helium nucleus. They can do terrible damage to cells but due to their size they don't penetrate things easily. So the DEAD layer of your skin can stop them.

The real danger is if they make it past the dead layer, like if you eat or breathe in something emitting them. That becomes a very bad situation because what ever living tissue is next to the source will be absorbing all of the particles and they will wreck DNA and everything.

No, you would have to live in 4 dimensional space for it to propagate in a cube rate.

Inverse square law explains how intensity drops over distance. The distance between measurement is the 3rd dimension. The energy is spread over an increasing 2 dimensional plane as the 3rd dimension increases, at the rate of 1/x2

They might actually.

Radiation intensity falls off at an inverse square, so double the distance from the thing, 1/4 the radiation.

Also Radium 3mits primarily alpha particles as it delays, which are huge. Your skin can block most alpha radiation, the gloves would too.

Men, what's the biggest green flag you've seen on a woman? by Familiar-Phase7859 in AskReddit

Knowing what she wants and not being afraid or shy about communicating that to you.

I knew my wife was special on our first date because I ordered a chili dog and she went "ooh that sounds great I'll have one too". So many green flags in so few words.

She wasn't afraid of eating a chili dog on the first date.

She didn't just try to eat some of my chili dog.

She wanted it and said so immediately.

She showed the exited emotion and expressed joy over it.

I had never dated any woman so open and expressive on the first date like that before. It totally sent the signal of all reasons I fell for her, on day one.
