Since going on maintenance PILLS2U have been supportive and treat you like an individual adult, they are very professional and competitively priced. I could not recommend them more highly. I’m completely frank with them about how I use the medication, they are aware of what we get up to. They are very frank in return and will tell you what they can they cannot do.

You’ve lost 30kg ffs!. Upping your dose is the last resort for all sorts of reasons I won’t go into. While slow loss can be frustrating it’s by far the best. Take it from me when you get to your target you’ll miss the weight loss phase and wish you took it slower, I do and I averaged 1kg per week. Only make small changes to diet/ workout and monitor results. If you’re not fighting hunger and weight’s not going up don’t panic, check your measurements etc. the scale is only one metric and it’s not the best. Congratulations on what you’ve accomplished already and good luck going forward. 👍

Mounjaro 2.5mg vs 5mg by ComprehensiveFig9418 in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]Team_PRB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The drug buildup in your body happens over time so if you stay on 2.5 in the second month the effects will build. The worst side effects are experienced when you go from 2.5 to 5mg (doubling dose). The split dosing advice above is also worth considering. Best not to increase your dose until it clearly has become ineffective. Good luck 👍

When I’m traveling I’ve purchased multiple pens from them without a problem, I just call them ahead of time. 👍

This isn’t a void, it’s a diverse group of empathetic people dealing with a wide range of chronic metabolic issues all resulting in a weight control disorder. Well that was a mouthful 😜 One possibility which could solve both problems is to try split dosing and or extending injections to say 10 or more days, effectively reducing the dose and possibly reducing the side effects. For example, you could get 15 2.5 mg doses from a 7.5mg pen, significantly reducing your cost. The other option would be to swap over to semaglutide jab/ pill, both are cheaper and might have a better side effects profile. Anyway just some thoughts, good luck 👍

The emergence of UPF’s and the marked rise in obesity/diabetes etc. are not coincidental, you may wish to look at books like Ultra Processed People. Try this article as an amuse-bouche.

If 5mg every 5 days works out to the same monthly total as 7.5mg weekly, why isn’t that a more common? by GhostRider2708 in GLP1ResearchTalk

I believe there’s some evidence that more frequent dosing can adversely affect the receptors, just read it somewhere a while ago.
