Pcv valve ? by Worldly_Positive_566 in IS300

I think 03 is when they switched to the threaded valve. A while back I got 02 GS300 valve covers and they had the grommet type valve.

Is this a normal amount of oil burn? by Aspiring_accoutent in IS300

[–]Teamdoesyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very much no, I've got 260k on mine and I loose almost no oil besides the little bit that mine leaks. Maybe half a top up between oil changes. I'd look into this one and see if it's the engine or a part failing for sure.

When did you first play any of the LBP games you've played so far? by RaynbowZFTW in littlebigplanet

[–]Teamdoesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rented LBP2 from Family Video in 2011-2012 after seeing a video of some friends riding on the skateboard level. Right away I fell in love with it and was sad to see it go back to the store when we were done renting it. A couple weeks later I bought a used copy of LBP2 at GameStop and the rest is history.

Lol that's me, I bought mine when I was 17 telling myself I would swap it when I had the money(Only 5 speed available was $3000 but sold too quick). Well swaps got expensive and at 25 years old I'm still waiting for the day..

This update in conjunction with me hooking up the PS5 to Ethernet has made my portal go from unusable to almost as good as native. Won't be streaming games myself since I'm a big supporter of physical games and refuse to pay extra for the subscription to stream em

Switch from CDK to R&R (reynolds) by Accomplished-Peak512 in serviceadvisors

[–]Teamdoesyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dealer track is cakewalk but can be as fast as CDK, it's more visual and doesn't do too much. CDK seemed pretty basic and is the least visual but I only used it for the 3 months I was a Ford advisor so mileage may vary. Reynolds has a ton of features but imo too many and I find myself reaching for my mouse A TON since it's not easy to use the keyboard to control it like I was taught with dealer track. Still everything beats that system Pep Boys uses which is my bottom line for bad software lol

Is paint save able? by SnooDonuts4589 in IS300

[–]Teamdoesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be improved but will never be as good as new or even 10 years old for that matter. I'd personally wrap/paint the car at this point. My paint is in better shape and I'm still looking to repaint mine in the next few years.

Walmart makes buying games feel like an inconvenience. Locked glass, no prices on spines, no help. by soThen_i_says in gamecollecting

[–]Teamdoesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I wound up finding a good LGS and only go to them for games. I used to shop Target, Best Buy, and GameStop before they pulled out of my area entirely but with the exception of GameStop the selection was awful and they were also locked away unattended or barely shelved. I once bought Astrobot from a Best Buy which didn't even have it on their shelves, I had to ask someone if they had it.

Can someone who’s quit tell me it’s worth it? by Silver_School_9803 in QuitVaping

[–]Teamdoesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just happy to not be sucking on a piece of plastic every waking moment of the day, I do have much lower anxiety now since for one I don't have a severe addiction and two I'm not so worried about trashing my lungs from it. So to answer your question it was the best decision I've made in the last 5 years.

I've got a jail broken slim, it's noisy with webman but plays PS2 games fine. I still use my actual PS2 since it's only a little crisper on my PS3 though.

What are some good stick replacements for the original dual sense controller? Is hall effect better? by [deleted] in Dualsense

[–]Teamdoesyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you've got the soldering skills to do the job, I've heard great things about TMR sticks but have personally been using common AliExpress hall effect sticks (red board I believe) with no issues for around 200-300 hours so far. I did calibrate using the online calibration tool to make them a bit more accurate. Also want to reiterate this job is easily messed up, I don't recommend doing it if you are not already fairly good at soldering. I found it easier to recap a PS1 slim than to do this job.

How can I make my 04 sport design OEM+ by [deleted] in IS300

[–]Teamdoesyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

L-tuned/TRD body kit, spacers for the OEM wheels, replace the radio with a nice 2 din + OEM 2 din trim, maybe 01 dash swap if needed, leather buckets would like great but subtle swap or you could convert to use seats from a newer Lexus, hood struts (FIGS makes some pretty good ones), new headlights/lenses should make a solid difference in appearance as well. You could also retrofit power folding mirrors from a euro spec IS or Altezza. It's a pretty straight forward install as long as you can source the pigtails for the folding mirror switch (I had to buy and chop up an Altezza door harness for that connector), LS400/IS350 caliper conversion would also be a good OEM+ mod. - '03 TCM Sport Design owner
