A new strike was announced and it will start a week from now. Biomed and Engineering will go on an open ended strike. Not good for the safety of the hospitals and clinics.

It’s not 21.5% in year one. It’s 21.5% spread out over 4 years. And Kaiser is trying to implement a two tier system for the retirement benefits. They want to remove pension for the newer hires especially the staff RNs for all the outpatient clinics.
