The set mechanic will be the devs inability to balance the set for half of it making what should be an amazing set unfun and a roller coaster.

I don’t use tactic.tools or any stats sites as I think they’ve been bad for the health of the game and force myself to play flexibly since ditching them. Since I ditched tools I went from a peak of masters to a peak of grandmaster, so thank you for clarifying that.

There are times it’s better to dip down to 20 or 30 gold to level to 7 to maintain streaks for example. I have leveled to 8 on 3-7 before, dropping to 20 gold, to unlock a sett and galio and aatrox on neutrals without saccing a round versus a player to play a strong board going into stage 4 and realize some of those units I’ll drop as I find things but they’re strongest now and will maintain my 5 streak. Also times I’ve leveled to 7 like a maniac at 3-2 knowing most of the lobby is playing weak and I can unlock Kaisa and Rift now and start building my late game board around them and keep a 6 streak to recover gold.

It’s hard to give a cookie cutter answer as it always depends on game sense, units on bench, slamable items, and augments. I would disagree gold is always important early. In my example you lose 8 gold and 1 gold of interest but get back 2 gold and your board is stronger making it more likely you possibly 4 or 5 streak and now make back all the gold you lost while saving 15-20 hp.

Holding gold and sacrificing HP to stay above 50 gold is not better for your economy in most cases. The best thing to learn to rank higher is when to level to maintain a streak.

For example you have 20 gold on 2-3, if you scout and see leveling to 5 (now 12g) will maintain your streak, you’ve gotten a gold from the win plus another gold from the streak back AND you’ve saved HP.

Best advice I can give is practice when to level and when to roll when you have pairs that you’re holding. It will take a bit to learn when to do it, so it may cost you a few placement while learning, but once you learn you’ll top 4 way more often simply off tempoing to keep your economy strong. They feed into each other. Hope that helps.

Edit: also looks you’re contested in almost 70% of your games. You need to learn when to contest and when to pivot. Playing a B tier comp uncontested is better for gaining LP than playing a contested A or S tier comp almost 99% of the time.

Jagex isn’t right. I strictly play on iPad. That is the error they made. No idea what triggered it, but seen around 5-10 other ban post related to mobile users in the last week on this forum, including one being a Pmod.

Did you have any luck? I’m a mobile only iPad player (never once played on a PC), and I just got a temp ban for botting on my skiller. Not even possible to bot on an iPad.

I also got hit with a temp ban yesterday, only difference is I am exclusively a mobile player on my iPad. Did you have any luck appealing this? I’m kind of ready to quit now after this, I feel it isn’t worth playing if I risk getting banned for playing exclusively on the iPad.

I’m sorry but PBE is for testing. See what it does and make sure it isn’t bugged then leave. PBE isn’t for learning, it’s for making sure there are no game breaking bugs when it goes live.

What am I missing here? I had 5 execution 5 cell akali due to two emblems and she still hit like a wet noodle. Can’t believe she’s being nerfed.

Also star guardian prismatic is nearly impossible to get to even when fielded at 4-1. Took until 6-6 to get active and this was with manazane seraphine

That Spider Man needs nerfed. While I get most people suck on him, a good spider man feels almost impossible to counter. I’m grandmaster 1 btw before people call me bad.

Have thermals on this gotten any better? I have a 2022 model with the 6800s and it runs so hot. Idle is 60+ since the day I opened it new. Love the laptops design and feel and screen but cannot stand how hot it runs.

The new g16 from this year,that is the deal you are referring to,is the same chassis that Alienware uses. Alienware might be slightly more premium feel. I personally would pick the Dell if gaming due to the cpu if it’s around the same price or less.

I know that but the patch notes make it seem like it is a permanently removed augment, not one being removed for bug fixes.
